Nyx was asleep beside me. I wanted to wake her up and show her all of her presents.I was eager for her to see, as eager as a little kid. The whole kingdom sent her something. It was an overwhelming sight. I was going to have us open up our presents in the front parlor, but that obviously changed. I had them instead move everything to the throne room. Otherwise, there wasn't going to be any room for us.
I stood there and watched her for a minute. She rubbed her stomach in her sleep and I couldn't help but smile. She was starting to show. Everything about her was changing. Her belly was growing and so was the rest of her. I loved it. She was carrying my pup.
I curled up next to her, nuzzled her neck and rubbed her belly. “Good morning baby. Merry Christmas.” I said and kissed her
