Tales of Cecile's Diary

Chapter Sixteen

“What are you doing?” I jerked my arms off his hands and glared at him as much as I could.

  “Just shut up! You always ruin everything, why can’t you just be quiet and not create trouble for yourself for once!” Athan snapped and his face turned red strangely looking totally angry with me.

  “What have I ever done to you, I have never talked to you for goodness sake we just met!” I was exasperated and I wondered how I had offended someone I barely talked to.

  “You might not know me Cecile but I know you…” He smirked like a creeper.

    “I’ve known you for a very long time Cecile and you just don’t know it.”

  Behind him another figure appeared from the woods and he smirked at my muddled expression. They both grinned at her and she stepped back in horror when the new guy brought out a knife and Athan held a syringe.

  “What do you want from me?” I kept walking backwards and I yelped when I stumbled on a tree branch. I just froze on the ground and I looked at both men in fear they moved closer to me and struggled to stand up and I winced when I used my legs to lift myself up.

 Just sit still this wouldn’t hurt a bit, the second guy cooed and I froze momentarily. Athan walked closer with his vampire speed and grabbed my hands with his arms and folded them at my back with a rope and grabbed my legs firmly. His second friend walked closer to me and opened my palms and cut them open with the knife.

  I screamed on top of my lunged and a cloth was pushed into my mouth. I shook my head violently and tears streamed down my face. The second guy wiped my hands clean and Athan stood up to insert the syringe into my neck.

  The both moved back and I jerked violently my whole body spasm for a whole two minutes and it was the worst moment in my life. I looked at both vampires with so much hatred. How could Athan do this and what does he gain from having my blood and injecting me with only God knows what.

  They both just stood over me with folded arms watching me as if I was some sort of sick entertainment for them.

  After two minutes I felt paralyzed and I landed on the ground. “Goodnight princess, forget this forever.” Athan whispered into my ears and I closed my eyes and went unconscious.

  I jerked awake, and I shivered my whole body was wet with sweat and I pushed the blanket of my body and stood up. The cold water from the bathroom sink freshen my face and I took a towel to have a shower cus I smell like s**t.

  After my shower I walked to the kitchen feeling a lot hungry and I wondered when I went to bed. I shrugged and opened the fridge and took out a carton of juice and I also found some left over spaghetti.

  I closed the fridge and I put the plastic into the microwave to reheat the food I took a seat and waited for my dinner.

  The front door opened and faced the door wondering who was just coming back at this time of the night. “Who’s there?” No one answered and I stood up to go and inspect. I walked silently holding a knife in case it was a burglar.

  I walked to the sitting room turned on the lights and saw Athan at the door. His body was stained with dirt and I wondered where he was coming from.

  He smiled and pointed to the door. “I just went to take a walk outside I couldn’t sleep.”

  “Oh.” I replied.

He smirked when he saw the knife with me and I blushed.

“Sorry, I thought it was a burglar. Goodnight.” I waved at him and went back to the kitchen.

  “Goodnight. Sleep tight.”  He replied.

  I took out the spaghetti in the microwave and dished it into a plate carrying the juice in my hands and headed to my room.

  Lying on my bed I sighed in satisfaction after eating. I was still so confused, I felt like a memory of mine was erased and it felt strange. The only thing I remember was when I finished cleaning and I went into the kitchen to drink water. Everything from there was blank.

  I guess I would have to ask the others tomorrow then, they should know what happened this afternoon. And why I couldn’t remember a thing is still a mystery to me because it was not normal at all. I felt like there was a wall blocking my memories.

  When I was starting to get frustrated I forced myself to sleep to calm down the turbulent noises in my head.

  “Cecile wake up! Wake up!”

 I gasped awake with my breath coming out heavy. I looked around me and I saw Asher, Haden, Katherine and Athan look at me worriedly and I wondered what was going on.

  “What’s happening?”

 “Cecile, your face. It’s – It’s changing colour. Your face is turning blue and you’re sweating rapidly.” Katherine spoke up.

  And then I started to feel cold and then hot at the same time. My hands are shaking and I feel so scared, I looked at Asher silently pleading for him to do something. I screamed when the pain was unbearable, my head started to pound and my ears were going dumb temporarily leaving my ears with a terrifying loud whistle.

  I screamed again, and started twitching I felt like my whole body was being broken bone by bone all at the same time.

  Haden, Asher and Athan all went out at the same time leaving me and Katherine alone together. I continued to twitch painfully and I felt myself going in and out of consciousness.

  With an ear piercing scream I blacked out for a few minutes and opened my eyes later on Katherine was still beside me saying something to me but I heard nothing.  I sighed in relief when I felt no pain at all and I smiled at Katherine.

  A few minutes later, I started to twitch terribly, going in and out of consciousness with my head pounding and my ears screaming all at the same time and time two worse than my first episode.
