I sat down shocked and confused. There was no way that can be true; his facts must be all bogus and full of crap. There would be no way mom and dad would keep something so huge like this from me.
For goodness sake I’m 21; they wouldn’t just discard that huge information from me like I was a teenager. Most especially Auntie Jo she wouldn’t do that to me they wouldn’t.
I stood up from the chair and walked out of the room I need to think and going into my room is not an option that place looks like a cemetery. Instead I walked out the door and trekked to the back of the house walking a little farther from the cabin so I wouldn’t be disturbed.
The cool evening breeze blew through my hair and I sighed in content. I sat on the ground and laid my back on a tree and closed my eyes trying to feel the breeze blowing through the trees and my hair.
Never in a lifetime would I have thought of this happening to me, I just couldn’t believe the fact that I was adopted and my parents are dead. Although I never knew them, but it still hurts to know that my own flesh and blood died and left me here alone in this world to face it myself.
I’m still grateful for my mum and dad though, they took care of me like their own daughter even though they didn’t really have time for me but at least they tried. And I’m grateful that I was oblivious about my real parents when I was younger but at least they could have told me when I got into college.
It just hurts more to hear I am an orphan from someone else. I sighed again, the corner of my eyes stinged and I could feel the tear blurring my sight.
The diary flashed in my eyes and I felt the urge to look for it. I stood up, cleared my eyes and walked back to the cabin it was getting darker by the time I got to the cabin and I walked past the car and paused when I saw a light coming from the boot of the car.
I frowned and walked to the boot opening it up and I gasped in surprise. The Diary was glowing as if it expected my arrival. I picked the book up and the light disappeared, I pushed the boot close and walked back to the woods.
I sat down and brought out the pen I kept at a corner of the book. Here goes nothing I said to myself and wrote on the diary waiting for the hidden writings to appear.
I smile when the writings appeared and I started to open to the page I last read.
Dear diary,
That monster has taken my husband away from me! He has destroyed everything, the kingdom is in ruins. I would never forgive my father and that monster for this, their greed has caused all this.
All they wanted from my husband was his wealth and they took it in the worst ways possible at the cost of so many lives and now I have to marry that monster’s son!
And this had been my father’s plan all along, he used me to play his dirty game of who wins it all and I have been his lucky card.
That was horrible, a father using his own daughter for his own greed.
Dear diary,
That man is so despicable he brought me to his castle to wed his son who is already seeing someone he loves and now his son hates me.
I never miss the way he glares at me like I was trash when we’re alone and his hatred for me grows every day and he never tries to hide it. Life here has been miserable although I was able to make friends with the maids who had pity for me but at the same time I don’t feel comfortable here. I feel like I’m been imprisoned here.
I closed the diary and I sighed, the diary was just filled with sobbing moments and despair but I can’t find anything in the diary to explain what is going on.
The moon was already in full bloom and I decided to leave for the cabin.

I woke up the following morning with a groan, trying to block out the disturbing noises outside. I almost screamed when to pillows I nailed to my ears didn’t drown out the noise. Instead I stood up from the bed trying to avoid the dirtiest parts of the room as much as possible.
I walked down the hallway and I noticed the noises where actually the sound of a car and laughing. I walked closer to the front door and noticed an SUV was parked right beside the car Asher and I came in yesterday and jumping out from the car was Haden, Katherine and her husband Athan.
They all shook their heads at Asher who was hysterically laughing like an obsessed fan girl. Haden walked up to Asher and smacked his head while roughing up his friend’s hair like he was a dog.
“Welcome guys. I would like to warn you that the rooms look like a grave so there’s a lot of cleaning to do.
Several hours later everyone held a sponge and a bucket of soap and started to clean. I was amazed because I thought they would actually hire someone instead of cleaning it themselves. Although they grumbled every once in a while but it was nothing serious.
The sitting room and the kitchen was clean we all moved to our rooms to start another round of cleaning. Fortunately for me I had swept my room and brushed off the cobwebs but still I had a lot of cleaning to do.
After my room was cleaned I moved to the bathroom and I started with the grim and dirty tiles. I almost puked at the smelling bathroom so instead I showered the bathroom with a lot of perfume and folded a cloth to my nose.
The sun was about to set when I was already through with the cleaning and went into the kitchen to drink water. I was halfway through with the water when I was tapped at my back. I turned around and gasped in surprise and before I could say a word I was dragged by my arms out of the house into the woods.
“What the hell are you doing? Leave me alone or I would scream!” I threatened, my heart was already beating a million miles and I wondered what this guy wanted from me.
He dragged me into the woods and released my arms.
“You would keep quiet this instance if you do not wish to die and I would not hesitate to do so.”
