“His Father”

As Onyx thoughts faded into blackness.

His eyes opened but he wasn’t in his room anymore,he scrunched his eyebrows confused as he looked around.

The whole area was darkness and it utterly confused him.

He looked around,even turned around before he heard a dark chuckle.

He turned to see a figure off in the distance clapping towards him.

He tilted his head closer trying to get a better look as the figure came closer and his eye’s widened.

“My boy!”The person stated clapping as he came to stop in front of him.

Onyx jaw tightened and looked at him suspiciously as if he’d seen a ghost.

“Father?”He questioned as the man nodded his head.

“How is this possible? You died over ten years ago.”Onyx asked in shock as he stared at his father,taking in his features.

The man had gray hair swooped at the top of his head,light baggy jeans and a flannel top on him. An shoes that looked like he just stepped out of church.

His cross still hung around his neck and the big Alpha ring on his finger still attached as it glowed red.

“Because son you’ve traveled in a galaxy that a lot can’t reach. You shouldn’t be here but it’s nice to see you. You’re in the land of the dead.”His father said causally as Onyx looked at him taken back and his father laughed.

“Don’t worry son,you’re not dead,this is just an out of body experience.”His father stated matter of factly.

“Which begs the next question,I’m happy to see you but how did you end up here?”His father asked raising an eyebrow at him now with an eyebrow raised.

“I’m not sure,I was trying to calm my wolf and decided to mediate. He was pissing me off wanting to be next to our mater after we found her yesterday.”Onyx replied looking away as his fathered chuckled.

“Well that’s good son,something in your subconscious must of sent you here about it. Did you court her yet? Would she be an honorable Luna?”His father asked as these questions as Oynx sighed to himself frustrated.

“Father my mate is Avery stone and apparently Xavier is also her mate.”Onyx replied looking up as it got quiet.

Onyx turned his head towards his father and his face went pale.

“I guess the war that started between two packs is still going on from your reaction Onyx. We here all know Avery is special and it’s kinda not surprising but what is,is that Xavier is all her mate. You’re gonna have to court her son and then destroy her heart.”His father said sadly but gave him a sad smile.

“It’s not the problem destroying her father,it’s the mate bond I have with her. How can I even win her heart when she lives with her other mate and he’s her best friend. You know this.”Onyx stated confused as his father raised an eyebrow.

“Son,I’m an old man and take it from me,some women love chivalry. Court her,be a perfect gentleman,claim her as yours if she lets you and them get her trust through that and she will help your pack but don’t tell her the circumstances of it all. You know this.”His father said as he began to walk backwards fading into the blackness again.

Onyx’s eyes shot up as he grabbed his heart looking around the room breathing hard.

“What the hell was that!”He thought to himself as he got up and walked towards his door twisting it open and stepping into the hallway looking from left to right to see no one but his two guards outside his door.

He shook his head as he made his way down the hallway to the main floor.

*With Avery*

Avery sat the table outside chewing on her pizza looking out across the field watching the other students pass-by.

She heard a plate drop on the table beside her and looked to see the boy who praised her from earlier in the class room.

She sucked in the cheese off the piece she was eating and blinked at him surprised as he smiled widely at her.

“Hey,I thought I could give you the pleasure of me sitting here.”He said laughing as Avery c****d an eyebrow at him and laughed.

“You have no friends here,do you?”Avery asked in a mocking tone laughing.

“No I do not,you and your boyfriend seem to be the first entertaining people I’ve met since I got here.”He replied laughing as Avery narrowed her eyes at him.

“He’s not my boyfriend,he’s an ass actually.”She replied rolling her eyes smirking.

He held his hands up in surrender and laughed shaking his head.

“I’m Noah Calloway.”He introduced himself holding his hands out with a smirk as Avery shook it.

“Avery Stone.”She said back shaking his hand and a thought occurred to her.

“Wait? Noah Calloway of the oil chain? The wealthiest in the world. You his junior?”Avery asked astounded in shock as her hand froze.

Noah chuckled and nodded his head popping a fry into his mouth.

As he went to respond verbally another person sat down at the table away from them.

They both turned their heads and was a guy who looked clean cut,uniform intact and big glasses to frame his face. He just looked at them with a bored expression on his face.

Noah sighed besides Avery and responded grumpily.

“This is my younger brother Ezra,my father sent him to keep tabs on me so I don’t misbehave.”Noah said rolling his eyes.

“You’re a bit of a trouble-maker aren’t you then?”Avery asked laughing as Noah replied “Yup” popping the “P” before turning back to Ezra.

“So what’s in dad’s plan for today?”Noah asked him as he just shrugged swallowing the bite of his sandwich.

“Dad apparently wants you to finish school,take over the company right away and get married. Doesn’t care if it’s your mate or not and he doesn’t want his son marrying a man.”Ezra responded flatly annoyed that he had to say all of it.

“God dammit,why can’t the old man just let me live my life and so what if I rather be with a man. That’s no one’s business.”Noah said frowning now.

“To be honest,I don’t think he cares,I think it’s the industry’s opinion he cares more about.”Ezra responded taking another bite of his sandwich.

“You know 95% of the time your mate is the opposite s*x though Noah.”Avery chimed in gently as she smiled gently at him.

“Yes I know but still,I hate being the oldest and born into a rich family. It’s not gems and pearls,they can be ruthless. That’s why I wanted to go here. Everyone seems normal enough and live normally,then cameras flashing everywhere and watching you 24/7.”Noah responded putting his food aside.

“What if we went to prom together?”Avery asked after a moment grinning at Noah.

Ezra spit out his drink all over his food and looked up and groaned.

“f**k,now I gotta go to prom too,don’t tell your going!?”Ezra asked across the table glaring at the both of us.

Avery and Noah both busted out laughing at the expression on his face.

“Yeah-yeah,you’re-you’re going.”Noah responded between his laughs as Ezra narrowed his eyes harder seeing us cracking up at his face as he got up and marched away angrily.

“Is he always like that?”Avery asked as her laughter died down now.

“100% of the time”Noah replied back as he turned towards Avery.

“Okay what’s color scheme for this prom date then because you already knew the answer was yes the moment you asked. I can never turn a lady down,especially a beautiful one.”Noah said as Avery blushed a little giggling at him.

“You sure you’re gay?”Avery asked laughing a little.

Noah smirked and twirled a piece of Avery’s hair in his finger.

“Positive,trust me,unless my mate does end up being a female then yes until then or if that happens I’m definitely gay.”Noah replied seriously looking at Avery.

Avery smiled at him as she told him the color schemes and how she will do her hair,her shoes and what she wanted.

Noah nodded his head seeing how excited Avery was he got a plan together in his head smiling at her.

As they both went there separate ways Avery began to walk out the double doors looking for a black jeep but frowned when she didn’t she it.

She had to from the school to the pack house which was a good 3 miles.

Xavier and Clinton must of fought again too because he would have been there to pick her up.

It was always Clinton,he never missed a beat unless those two were in a fight at the moment.
