THE COME BACK

Ned lives with his aunty whose name was Peace since his parent died of a gas explosion. Aunty Peace took in Ned when he was 13 years old and always maltreats him and mules him. On the day he turned 19 he left his auntie’s house into the street to hustle for survival. He joined the street boys and he kept praying to God for help. One rainy day, while coming back from a site where he molds block, he saw 2 young boys trying to r**e a young girl so he went after they had a fight with them and they gave up and ran away with her bag. She was in a big mess so he took her into the small apartment he rented, gave her food and a place to sleep for the night. The next morning he gave her money to transport herself because those boys took her bag. They both exchange familiarity. Ned: Hi I’m Ned by name Jennifer: Am Jennifer ………  And thanks for yesterday and your hospitality, I really do appreciate it. Ned: it's okay…….. Thank God you weren’t hurt Jennifer: yeah………… thank God. She left the room while Ned led the way to the main entrance. He stopped a bike man and told him to stop her where ever she’s going, giving her a thousand naira for any extra expenses. Days passed Jennifer kept thinking of Ned. One day she went back to the place where Ned lives but couldn’t see him, asked questions but no useful answer. After two months Jennifer and her dad Mr. Philip went out to have lunch then they went to the supermarket to get some items when they boomed into Ned. She couldn’t believe she would see him again. So she introduced him to her dad over lunch. Mr. Philip showed some gratitude by offering him a job at his company, a construction company, as an errand boy which he gladly accepted. Mr. Philip is the CEO of The Philips Construction Company and also runs an underground company where they bulk crude oil and sale to foreigners. Mr. Philip was a known man under construction more than other businesses he has. Mr. Philip was a dangerous man when it comes to business, he doesn’t joke with his profit so his staff was always careful with him. Mr. Philip has thugs that work for him in his crude oil laundry and Leo was his manager kind of his right-hand man. Things started going fine for Ned, got a nice apartment. Before Ned started his new adventure, Mr. Philip introduced him to his workers at the conference room, and some top men were recognized. People like Engr. Frank who was the director of plan and survey and Engr. Stephen was the director of finance than Mr. Peter who was the Managing Director.
