REIDEN GREI'S POV:

"ASHLEIGH!?" I shouted her name but she didn't look back until I saw someone grab her from behind.

"FVCK! FVCK! FVCK!" I cursed under my breath as it was too late when I saw how Ernaline was put inside the van.

I took the phone out of my pants pocket as I called Griffin.

"What is it Grei?" he said as he picked up my call.

"Come see me outside the Montenegro Empire. Someone took Ernaline and put her in the van. I don't know who they are!?" I answered in shock.

"Astyr and I will be there in a minute."

The call ended when Griffin hung up the phone. I don't know what I can do if my sister is in danger.

I didn't expect them to attack so soon, and my sister was the target. They didn't even dare to approach me personally because of the connection I have with the mafia world.

A few minutes later, a car stopped in front of me and rolled down its window. Astyr's serious face was revealed to me while Griffin was in the driver's seat. I quickly got into the car and told Griffin that we had to go to HuPoFEL.

"My sister got kidnapped and I need Aqueros's help," I said as I clenched my jaw when the car started to move.

I was upset because this was the second time I couldn't protect Ernaline. I am a fvcking useless!

"Could you please speed up the car, Griffin?" I commanded him.

"The speedometer is full, Grei," he answered.

I lean my back on the car seat as I massage my temple. I really should have given in to Ernaline's wish to accompany her to the mall, and I hope this doesn't happen!

People who want to bring us down will never disappear from our world as Montenegro. But to sympathize with my sister is another matter.

A few minutes passed, and we already reached HuPoFEL. I didn't think twice and immediately got out of the car and went straight inside HuPoFEL. Fourth greeted me with surprise even Andrew was wondering what an Elite Member like me was doing in HuPoFEL territory.

"Where is Aqueros?" I asked Fourth.

"In his office. What are you doing here?" he asks back.

Elite Members like me are forbidden to simply show up to HuPoFEL members because they have no idea who and what our position is in the Bloodfist mafia. But in my case, I am exempted from such policies of Aqueros.

"I have something to discuss with him. Bring me to his office." I pleaded.

Fourth led the way as he escorted me to where Aqueros's is. Until we stopped at a door and Fourth knocked three times.

Fourth opened the door for me as we heard something inside the room.

I winced as the dark room revealed itself to me and I could only see the shadow of a man.

"Why is your office dark?" I asked Aqueros in surprise.

"What are you doing here?" he said in a low voice as if he had just woken up while answering my question with another question.

Damn this guy!

"I need your help," I said without hesitation.

"You only remember me when you need something. What is it?"

The idiot was dramatic! He will ask me first before he can take some action.

"My sister got kidnapped," I answered.

Silence fell in the room where Aqueros was when I said that my sister had been kidnapped.

I heard him sigh. "Call Fynrell for me."

I followed Aqueros' orders and summoned Fynrell.

"You called me, Boss?" Fynrell said as he entered the room.

"Help Grei to find his sister and I will appoint you as her bodyguard if you'll save her."

Aqueros' assertion that Ernaline required a bodyguard elicited a frown from me, given my belief that I was capable of safeguarding her myself. Fynrell, with whom I had interacted on numerous occasions, was a constant presence by Aqueros' side, accompanying him wherever he went. Although typically reticent, Fynrell exhibited a strong work ethic, taking his responsibilities seriously. Aqueros, who served as our key, had shaped the members of both HuPoFEL and Bloodfist into a peculiar world.

"Fynrell, I am putting my sister's safety in your hands. I trust you to take care of her. But let me be clear, if anything unfortunate happens to Ernaline, I will not hesitate to hold you accountable." I threaten him.

ERNALINE'S POV:

Nagising na lang ako sa huni ng mga ibon sa paligid na tila hinihele ako sa kawalan. Sinikap kong idilat ang mga mata ko at tumambad sa akin ang isang malinis na kwarto na tanging ang laman ay kama, isang upuan at bintana na silyado.

Bumangon ako mula sa kinahihigaan ko at mabilis na lumapit sa bintana pero tanging mga mayabong na talahib ang sumalubong sa akin.

Natinag ako nang bumukas ang pinto ng kwarto at iniluwa noon ang isang lalaking hindi ko kilala at may dala itong tray ng pagkain.

He smiled at me when he saw me I already awake. Lumapit ang lalaki at umupo sa bakanteng silya bago inilapag ang pagkain sa kama na kinahihigaan ko kanina.

"Come here, Ashleigh. I brought you some food." utos nito.

Kumunot ang noo ko at humawak sa hamba ng bintana kahit na alam kong hindi ko siya matatakbuhan ay kumapit pa rin ako.

"Sino ka ba? Bakit mo ako dinala dito?" matapang na tanong ko sa lalaki without minding his offer.

He crosses his arms in front of his chest as he crosses his legs as if we are having a good conversation with each other.

"I had no intention of hurting you, Ashleigh. I just wanted to warn Reiden Grei."

"Kung may kasalanan sa'yo si Kuya, bakit ako ang dinukot mo? Wala akong alam sa away ninyong dalawa." naiinis na sambit ko dito.

Sa lahat ng pwedeng mangyari ay ganito pa ang kahihinatnan ko?

Napaigtad ako nang tumayo ang lalaki mula sa kinauupuan nito at marahang lumapit sa akin. Wala akong maatrasan dahil nakasandal na ako sa bintanang silyado.

"You are not involved in the conflict we have, but I will use you in my ambition to bring down Reiden Grei," he said while his eyes were staring at me.

I swallowed as if something was stuck in my throat and horror crawled through my entire system.

"If you need money, just ask my Big Brother!" I snorted at the man in front of me.

"I don't need Montenegro's money, Ashleigh. What I want is for you to make a deal with me!? Hmmn..?"

The man ran his index finger on my cheek.

I want to hit him but I'm afraid he might hurt me.

"Just agree to the deal I will give you, I will not disturb your brother. But if you don't want to, there is still an option."

"Ano ba talaga ang kailangan mo?"

He smiled at me. "Do me a favour Ashleigh, you will join and sign the contract to be part of the BlackHand band."

"At ang kapalit?"

"Two options, Ashleigh. Either destroy them, or you will marry me when the time comes?"

Tinignan ko ito nang may panunuri at pinaningkitan ko ito ng mata. "I'll choose the first option just let me go and don't you ever hurt my brother!"

"Then it's a deal?" inilahad ng lalaki ang kamay ni sa harapan ko.

Nagpabalik-balik ang tingin ko sa mukha niya at sa kamay nitong naghihintay na tanggapin ko ang offer niya.

Napabuntong-hininga ako at pikit-matang tinanggap ang kondisyon na binigay niya.

"Sealed!" masayang wika niya bago binitawan ang kamay ko. "But, always remember I have eyes and ears wherever you go Ashleigh. Don't test my patience if you'll destroy the deal we've sealed."

"Hindi ako marunong sumira sa usapan basta lubayan mo lang ako at ang Kuya ko!"

"Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Not gonna happen." he said as if he was mocking me.

Akmang magsasalita ako nang biglang bumukas ang pinto at iniluwa noon ang isa pang lalaki na hindi ko kilala.
