Ava in captive

episode 5

The room was silent for a while when the receptionist pointed at Ava's arms which was holding on to Lily firmly and shouted as she mentioned the obvious to the Cop.

"That is a Wolf she is holding"

the receptionist opened her eyes wide as her chest heaved heavily while she stepped backward a little bit, allowing the Cop to handle them both.

"I knew she was no human when she walked in here yesterday, her eyes looked different and she was too beautiful to be human, she came in here restless yesterday and i knew something was wrong about her"

The awful receptionist yelled as she looked at Ava with so much distress mixed with hatred.

"I should have known she is of no good intentions here"

the receptionist added but the Cop Woman said nothing as she only pointed her gun towards Ava just when she noticed she was holding a wolf in her arms, the Cops seem to be acting confident but was not really comfortable as she was also scared of the creature in her presence, she gradually went closer to them because for all she knew about these creatures, they would have attacked if they mean to harm them, she gradually grew confident and trust her initiatives as she walked ahead towards them while Ava stepped backward from them especially the Cop.

"Who are you?"

She questioned and Ava could see her hands firmly holding the gun towards her but it was also quivering in fear as her hands were wet and slippery, Ava on the other hand was also scared as she opened her eyes wide without saying a word which got them having a quiet scene as they all looked at each other in silence only for the silence atmosphere to be distrupted by the receptionist.

"You should not move close to her, that is too dangerous, she is just being tactical"

the receptionist mentioned from behind as she stuck to the door in a case when she needs to leave the room.

"Shhhh" the Cop silenced the receptionist asking her to be mute as the receptionist became dumbfounded and dissappointed.

"Why are you here?"

The Cop asked again with a low soft voice that got Ava to trusting her and opening up to her as the memories of what happened back in the yellow Stone pack came running into her mind's eye she felt like letting it out to her but the picture of the receptionist in the room kept her mute as she looked at her, fortunately for her the Cop got the message immediately as she asked the receptionist out.

"Can you please excuse us?" She said to her without looking at the receptionist behind her, the receptionist was not happy about that but reluctantly set to leave.

"Now!"

The Cop said under her breath as she wished to get Ava talking to her immediately, the receptionist left immediately as the Cop gently dropped her gun on the floor with her hands in the air.

"I am not here to hurt you, I do not mean any harm, I just need to ask you few questions and you have to come with me , you have to leave this place because it not safe for everyone around here"

the Cop said and kept mute for a while, trying to process what she had said.

"Do not get me wrong, they would all assume that knowing you are not of our caliber, besides it not safe for you too, you need to be among your selves, if you cooperate with me, I will make sure I get you back home"

The Cop said all these at once and breathlessly as she tried to make her point to Ava, wondering if she even understands anything, if she could even talk, the room was quiet again for a while as no one was talking except the heavy breathe in the air from both parties who seemed to be scared of one another.

"Uhmm do you talk?"

The Cop asked as Ava nodded.

"I do not want to go home, I can not go back home"

Ava said with the most sumptuous voice the Cop must have heard in her lifetime and that was when the she realised the wolf was no longer in her arm and was no where around the room, she quickly scanned the room with her eyes and could not find it anywhere untill when Ava brought her attention back to her.

"She is in me"

she simply said and as if that was a mystery or magic to the Woman Cop, she nodded and stepped backward a bit from Ava.

"I do not mean to harm anyone, I just need a place to stay for a while"

Ava said as her head fell with her face on the floor.

"You can not stay here, they will kill you"

The Woman Cop whispered to her which got Ava quivering and shocked at the sound off that.

"Do not be scared, I will help you get back home"

The Cop said.

"no I can not go back home, I was rejected"

Ava said as it suddenly occured to her that the Cop Woman might not necessarily understand that as she quickly added what she thinks was a better explanation.

"My family disowned me, I can not be found in the Pack again, ever!"

Ava said which got the Cop more tensed, frustrated and distress as she sighed in frustration.

"Can I know your name?"

She asked

"Ava"

she simply replied.

All of a sudden they both heard noises coming from behind the door and they both knew those People outside will not be nice, the Woman quickly ran up to Ava and used her handcuff on her.

"What are you doing?"

Ava asked with terror as she tried to fight back.

"I will not hurt you Ava, we need to get out of this place and you can only go out when they think you are in captivity"

The Cop said quickly and Ava was able to trust her again as she stopped fighting back immediately, the door was opened and they found this lady hand cupped.

"Oh my f*****g God!"

One of the Male Cop lamented at the sight of Ava.

"How can such angel be a Wolf, it not even possible"

the second wolf who was as shocked as the first also lamented adding to the statement of the first Cop and The Woman Cop holding on to Ava knew she would not have agreed to Ava being a wolf and Ava would have denied it but she could see the Wolf with her and she knew well Wolves are not human pets, so Ava must have been a Wolf to keep one and the part where she could not find the animal again only for Ava to admit to that it in her where it had came out from which a outmost shock to her, she could not even hold her properly because it almost look like she was holding the Wolf itself, the other Cops followed them behind making all sort of statements and assumption about Ava that she could all hear even when they seem to whispering, as they walked into the larger room or the reception she found the crowd who have been waiting for the warewolf that they have been gossiping about, they all stood watching the her as she moved out as she heard all sort of nasty things about her, the only favourable statement was the fact that she was beautiful, they were making statement out of what they've heard or read but Ava would not blame them since she had come across them before too.

"I heard they eat up humans to renew their life cycle and to keep in shape, that is why she looks extremely beautiful, she feeds on human blood"

this statement from of the spectator got to Ava and she had to turn around and looked at her, the lady met her sight too and got shocked knowing well that she must have heard her even when she was whispering and seem to be far away, the lady felt weak on her heels and thought of leaving the area.

Ava and the Woman Cop got to the Cops trunk and Ava was taken inside to stay as she whispered into Ava's ear while she stayed in the driver seat to drive the car and just have the Woman Cop has expected the Other Cop guys drove after her not because they were suspecting her but because they were going through the same route to stop at the same station with the assumed culprit

The journey was slow and tough for the Woman Cop as she thought about how to let go of Ava with these other Cop behind her, she drove slowly and they wondered why, at some point they had to stop and came down to ask her if everything was okay but she made a face and declared that she need to get the car to the mechanic.

"Ok I can take the car to the mechanic, then you use our car, Jerry and you would handle her"

the Cop said to her.

"No thank you, I will take the car for repair myself"

the Cop Woman who seem obviously worried and uncomfortable, she was sweating profusely and her breath was not stable.

"You want to do the trouble yourself?"

He asked her shockingly.

"Yes I am fine with that"

She replied him.

"Ok then we will leave with her in our trunk car since you are going for your car repair"

he said to her casually.

"No! "

The Woman Cop found herself shouting which got her alarmed as well as the The other Cop surprised too and now suspective of her.

"I mean it not necessary, I will see to it that I get her down there as soon as I am done with the repair"

she answered.

"That is not possible, you can possibly take her to the City among Humans, are you crazy? "

He said infruirated at the Woman Cop.

"She doesn't trust any of you!"

She shouted back at him frustrated herself.

"She trust me and that is why she is calm, handing her over to you would be a mess, she would not move from the trunk in the city as long as I am there"

she tried as much as possible to explain.

"ok"

was all he could say but seem not too sure about what she was doing as he headed back to his trunk with his colleague waiting.

"What kept you there so long Ma , are you wooing the Wolf girl? "

He asked ridiculously and laughed but he got no response from him as he drove off, he saw the Woman Cop change route in speed which was against the idea that her trunk was faulty, he knew something was up with her but he decide to meddle as he drove off through the normal route and tried as much as possible not to tell his colleague everything they've discussed as he knew him well to no that he would want to find out what she was up to.
