Samantha woke up due to the bright sun rays that made their way through her huge windows and hit her eyes. She was not a morning person at all so she felt extremely annoyed . She found it very irritating when someone woke her up from her precious sleep. So she groaned loudly with big frown on her face.
hearing her groan , Merlin spoke,"wake up sleepy head, you had too much of sleep". She immediately tried to cover her face with the blanket. Merlin pulled the blanket away from samantha and continued ,"wake up the queen wants you ready in 2 hour or else i am the one who will get in trouble". "why are you waking me up early in morning" asked samantha pissed. Merlin laughed ,"early in the morning? do you know what time it is? its 9 clock". Samantha replied "exactly its still early morning let.me.sleep, go away". "Answering your previous question i am waking you up because king aldric is coming to join you for lunch remember?". Samantha's eyes quickly shot open and she was no longer sleepily as she wanted to know badly the reason of his arrival. Samantha stood up and went to get ready.
It was the time for Aldric's arrival the queen was looking very worried, the king too was tense but appeared calm and composed .Samantha had a fixed emotion but the prominent one was curiosity. Just on the cue the Guards announced aldrics arrival. The huge two doors opened revealing a tall, muscular handsome man. His aura screamed dominance and power. All the three masked their respective emotions and put on a smile. aldric walked towards them and spoke i am actually impressed by you welcoming , it matched my exceptions. Hearing this king was relieved for an extent as he had especially made sure of all the arrangements as he didn't want any dissatisfaction from Aldric's side . Then aldrics eye moved towards samantha who stood there dressed with a beautiful and elegant gown, light makeup , her soft hairs tied in a bun and few hair stands caressed her mesmerizing face . Aldric eyed her intensely for many seconds. On other hand ,poor samantha felt his piercing gaze very intimidating and couldn't bare his burning gaze. For her relief , a maid came and spoke diverting Aldric's attention from samantha to her ,"food is ready my lord the table has been set up". the king ushered everyone to the dinning hall. It was a deluxe dining table , king sat at one end of table and aldric sat at another end.
