Chapter 51 - Kadis
I watch the sun peak over the horizon. When I portalled out, I thought that I would be repelled by the barrier. But I must have been taken out of the protected area. How, I do not know, but lucky for me because I was able to escape. Unfortunately, the darkness didn’t leave when I did. Someone had blinded me! It took a few days, but I finally got my vision back. Even my accelerated healing didn’t help. There must have been a Cherid there, or a half-breed of one. The rest has given me time to sort through what happened, as well as allow my memory to recover. I remember who I am, who I was. I remember the day we had to bow our heads and will to the council.
