As much as I enjoyed having him around, it was nice to have a free moment to study the book without Antonio watching me. I had read it cover to cover at this point and was just studying the specific rituals I would need. A little more time and I would feel comfortable performing it, and going back to fix everything.
It had to be done while the moon was waning, so after tomorrow night's ceremony, I had a few days where it would be optimum.
