Serenity's POV     I awoke with my face feeling as if it was on fire. I could taste the dried blood that lingered on my lips. My vision was still trying to adjust while I was looking around to my surroundings. Nothing looked familiar to me and I knew I must already be here at his home. It was a bright room that was massively huge. From where I was on the bed, I could make out a total of four doors, two dressers, and a chest at the foot of the bed. I looked to my right and found a note on the nightstand that read: Get yourself cleaned and dressed for breakfast. Someone will be in to get you by 10am. I looked over to my left to find a clock sitting on the nightstand. The clock read 9am, so I had a little bit of time. I got up out of the bed and walked over to one of the doors to reveal a walk-in closet with nothing but dresses and nice high heeled shoes. I walk to the other door that was adjacent of the closet and open it up. It was other walk in closet but this one was filled with shirts and pants, along with some shoes. I walk across from the closets to the other door at the far end of the room. I open the doors and I find another brightly lit room, but this was the bathroom and it was massive as well. I retreated from the bathroom to gather some clothes to take a shower. Inside the walk-in closet, I picked out a dress that was knee length. It was a light blue with multiple flowers covering it from front to back. I then found my way to the chest at the end of the bed to try and find some underwear. Sure enough, this was where they were. I picked out a matching set that was pale blue and made my way back to the bathroom.     Looking into the mirror, I could barely recognize the person staring back at me. I never considered myself beautiful or even pretty, but it was nice to finally get a look at the girl in the mirror that I have gotten to know so well over the last several years. My eyes darted to the huge bruise that was placed upon my cheek and the small cut right under it. It was hard to look at myself like this and I couldn't help but wonder why Alexander would want me as a potential wife. I’m sure there were far better options our there than me. I was nothing special and anyone with eyes could see that. I turned and stepped out of the pink dress I was wearing and turned on the shower. I stepped into the warm running water. It felt heavenly on my skin. I have never had anything that felt so good. I just let the water run over my body for what felt like hours. I then decided to wash my body and hair and get out before breakfast. I wrapped a towel around me that didn't seem like it wanted to stay up. I was severely underweight, and you could see bones through my skin. I dried myself off as best as I could, and I slipped on my underwear and the dress. I made my way out of the bathroom over to a vanity that was placed along the wall next to the bed. I started bruising through my mess of a hair when I heard a knock at the door. My heart sunk into my chest. The last thing that I was ready for was to face Alexander after yesterday. I humiliated him in front of everyone and I got a feeling that was something that you just didn't do. I feared him and what he would do to me after yesterday. I then heard a second knock followed by the door creaking slowly open. My eyes darted down to my hands in my lap.      "I see that you are all dressed and ready for breakfast." It was the mystery man from yesterday. He had a gentle tone that didn't scare me but invited me in. "Why do you always look down in the presence of a man?You don't have to hide from me, I will not hurt you." I slowly lifted my head up and saw the man standing in front of me. He was the most handsome man I had ever saw. He had short dark hair and was tall, very tall. I saw his muscles through the tight shirt that he was wearing, and I gulped. I then looked at his face and it was soft and kind. His eyes were mesmerizing. They were a light green color and the way the lights were hitting them was enough to make you fall to your knees. My mouth parted slightly as I took the sight of him in. "What are you staring at?" he chuckled. I couldn't find the words but instead I just shook my head. "Well, my name is Liam and I am Alexander's brother. Let's get you down to breakfast." His words hit me like a sudden gush of wind, about to knock me over. I didn't know much about either of them, but I did know the feelings I got being around each of them and they were two totally different feelings. Liam opened the door and gestured for me to step out.
