That day was supposed to be a celebration for Demire, but that’s not what happened exactly. The crimson moon appeared unexpectedly and that brought him to a very big problem that solved by itself. Sofia cannot remember anything. And that saved him. This thing helped him not to lose the current relationship he has with Sofia. They stayed on the farm the next morning. Sofia went back to her room to fix herself and Demire was left alone inside his room, having his deep thought about the happenings.
He’s not wearing anything to block his ears, he’s clearly hearing what Sofia doing inside her room. The splash of the water from the shower, her foot steps on the white marble floor, her phone ringing and more sounds that surrounds him. He’s staring on the opened glass window pane, watching how farmers working with their crops. His eyes were watching his men doing their work but his mind and his ears were focused inside her room.
“Gab?”
He turned to face the wall that parting their room. His used his sharp red eyes to see what she doing inside. Wearing a white robe and a squeezed towel that covering her dampen hair. “Gabriella again…” he murmured and clenched his fists. After what he found out about Gab’s possession, he learned to hate that woman more than how he hated her the first day he saw her inside his office. Since that first day, he does not have the intention to know who she was or what she was, but not today, that Sofia is what his more concerned about.
“Where are you, Sofia? It’s been two days I haven’t seeing you.”
He grinned of what he heard. “b***h!” he mouthed and crossed his arms on his chest. Was it normal for a women’s friendship? Gab’s voice has something that making him angry.
“Gab, are you sick? Do you need anything from me? You’ve been calling me unusual since yesterday. I’m having vacation.” Sofia tossed herself on the single couch and took a very deep sigh. Even her has sensing something wrong with Gab’s unusual behavior. It’s a bit clingy.
“I’m not sick, is just that this was the first time that you’d done this kind of abandonment with me.”
“Abandonment?” Sofia chuckled. “I just left for vacation, and this is a sudden vacation with De—”
“With Demire Goddard?” Gab sounds upset, and Demaire know why. He’s getting to more about this possessive woman. Demire won’t let her won. “Sofia, how come you’re with that man? You are just his secretary. Don’t you think he has bad intention with you? You’re trusting him so easy!”
Sofia paused because of what Gab told her, lips were dried. A thought comes to her mind. Gab has the point, but her heart was more powerful than anything else. Demire’s good deeds and the feeling she have every time is what she cared more. “Gab, I think you’re invading my right and my decision. I’m not a kid anymore. I can decide for myself, even it is good or not. Please, stop acting like you are my elder sister or a possessive mother to her child. I don’t have any of it.” Sofia ended the call immediately not thinking what might Gab feel after what she just told her. Well, that’s not what her concern, but Demire.
A smile drew on Demire’s lips. This is the first time that Sofia acted just like what his thought she should act. He does not care what might Gab feel, but he knew it strike her feeling badly. Those words were the thing that can open Gab’s eyes to face reality. She does not own Sofia, and would never be, as long as he was beside her. He felt so great after hearing their conversation. It helped him to ease the worries he has about her. “You did great, Sofia.” He chortled and sat on the edge of his bed.

“I ate so many, I can’t believe it.” Sofia stretched her arms. She finished her breakfast first and she ate so many today. She skipped dinner last night that left her stomach empty. This caused her to eat many than the usual amount of food she used to eat. “How ‘bout you?—Don’t you like your food?” Her eyes met his plate, he was not finish yet.
“No, I like the food but I love the scene.” He put the fork down and smiled at her. “I’m more focus on the beautiful scene, I’m afraid I can’t watch it before it’s gone. That was the most beautiful scene I watched.” His eyes were focused on her.
“Scene?” She looked around searching for the beautiful scene he mentioned. “But I can’t see any beautiful scene you might love to watch. Is it gone?” She stared at him.
He shook his head. “It’s not gone, she remained sitting in front of her.”
Sofia stuck staring at him. His answer pulled a thug on her heart. “W-what do you mean? D-do you mean I was the beautiful scene you were talking about?” She pointed herself with her middle finger, still in disbelief.
He smiled at her and nodded. “I found you cute while eating so many.”
Sofia blushed because of it. Should she take it as a compliment or not? It made her conscious about how she looked like while eating her breakfast. This is the first time she’d been so conscious about her look, and how he sees her.
“I just noticed it today, you have small mole above your upper lip.”
She gulped. “I-I inherited it from my mom.”
“I guess she’s beautiful like you.”
A pain flashed to her eyes. She does not want to talk about her parents. All the memories of her with them was forcibly vanished on her mind and on her heart. “What are we going to do next?”
“What would you like?”
