They reached his room. It was too late for her to realize that a man and a woman could not be together inside one room if they have no intimate relationship. But she was the only one had gotten that kind of thought, and not Demire. She shook her head to vanish her thoughts. She should not give another meaning. They are here to relax. Watch movie. Demire took out his laptop from his luggage. “You brought your laptop?” “Yup, it’s always with me.” He placed it on the center table. “I saved many movies on my drive but I don’t often watch movie.” He faced her. “What would you like to watch?” Sofia stared at his eyes. She’s watching him, and the question surprised her. “M-me?” Demire’s face went curious. “Is there someone with us, inside this room that I don’t see?” his sarcastic question followed with his chuckle. “Just kidding.” He tapped the floor next to him. “Sit here.” Sofia sighed and sat beside him. She tried so hard to bring back all her senses and vanish all the thoughts she had. She has to act normally and that’s what she did. She picked the movie for them. “I didn’t know you like fantasy. Supernatural movies.” The list of movies appeared on the files surprised her. Eighty percent of the movie files were fantasy and the rest percentage was random genre. “Yes,” Demire answered her. He loved to watch fantasy and more likely with the themes of vampires. It is because those movies were bringing him into the world where he belongs even for an hour. Though there are few scenes that he hated for showing him the same event where his clan died because on a tragedy. “It’s giving me different vibes.” He moved his laptop near her to she can select the movie she would like to watch. “This is great, I like vampire.” Demire was surprised because of what she just said. Did she mean it? What does it mean? He’s staring at her. “R-really?” Sofia looked at him with a smile and light face. “Yes,” she said, “In fact, when I was young. I imagined myself having a vampire boyfriend who was strong enough to protect me from different villains. You know I have ridiculous imagination.” She chuckled, making fun of herself when she was young. “I was thinking how it feels to have a vampire lover who is powerful. I imagined we will fly high on the night sky. I would let him bring me anywhere. I would let him b-bite my neck and sip my blood.” That words from her sweet lips lightened his heart and stuck him staring at her. Would it possible? Would a woman on a right mind can think this kind of thing? If there is, he wanted to meet her, love her and give her everything he can. He met her eyes. There were serious. “Do you know what is funny about it?” He didn’t answer her with words, he nodded instead. “That is… I’m still on that imagination.” She paused. Her eyes were flashing. “And now, I’m praying there is one powerful man to come into my life that will protect me for all the bad luck I had.” Tears appeared on her eyes. Is this the best time to tell him what she got? She bit her lower lip. “S-Sofia…” His breath deepening. “I thought last night…” She touched her neck. Her words confused Demire and gave a thug in his chest. Last night… “I thought last night, God answered my prayer, or was it just my imagination…” Demire closed his fists. He has no word left to say. He’s just staring at her. He’s not that stupid to not understand everything. Her words were clear enough to enlighten him. Staring at her teary eyes is what deepening his breath. “You can remember everything,” the only thing he whispered.   She slowly nodded her head. “The burn is what made me screamed, and the dark is what made me frightened.” She gulped. “But I know it was you, and your sharp fangs were embedded on my neck. I never been afraid.” “Then why did you lie?” His expression darkened. “Because, I’m scared.” He nodded. “Yeah, of course. You finally know what I am.” There was hardness inside him. He stood up, clenching his fists and looked at her. “Of course, you are scared to know who I am—” “No!” she disagreed and stood straight to meet his eyes. “I’m scared that you will avoid me. I’m scared that you will leave me, and you will go back as the same Demire who is cold and never used to laugh, that is completely different now.” His eyes widened and his heart was surprised. Is he dreaming? They have the same fear! He moaned when Sofia hugged him. “S-Sofia…” “Demire, I’m sorry if I lie. I’m sorry! Please don’t dare to avoid me, please!” He didn’t answer. He couldn’t find a better word to tell her. That confession was rare. A vampire like him could never find someone like her again. She is very special. Absolutely special and unique. “How can I avoid a woman who’d been true to herself and accepted who I am?” He parted her to him but Sofia refused it. Her face was on his chest. “You are so rare. And woman like you is worth to keep, Sofia. You are the only one who accepted me, but…” She automatically lifted her face to see his eyes. “What?” “Once you see my true appearance you will find your way to scape because you wil—” “No. It’s a big ‘no’ I swear.” Sofia pulled herself from hugging him. She tilted her face to show him his neck. “Show me what you got and sip my blood.”
