ChapterTwenty One
I began my junior year, again sharing a room in the dorm with Diane, quicklyresuming my previous friendships with the other girls on the floor. Desperately missing Tony, Iconcentrated on my studies, continuing to do well academically. I also devoted more of my time with family members living in the area, visiting them on weekends, and joining them for birthdays or holidays.
The limit of my social activities were the occasional gatherings of the girls at a local pub or pizza place, with the usual discussions, classes, boyfriends, dates, and on occasion, dramatic local events occurring in the area.
