Officially becoming the Luna

with one week to go untill my Luna ceremony evryone is trying not to think about Alpha Michael and sapphire falls pack by throwing themselves into the planning of this important event inwhich every pack member will be attend and i will join the packs mindlink too.

luna Jane, Gamma Leona, Beta mitch's mate Ruth, my mother and i have all been hunting for the perfect gown, we're stood in the middle of the dress stop and im in the most stunning ruby red dress floor length ballgown, strapless with corset back, diamontes covering the bodice and scattered over the skirt, "this is it" i tell my onterage as i turn to face them, i can feel my eyes filling with tears as i lock eyes with my mother, neither of us thought this day would ever happen. After paying we head home where lucas is waiting for us dressed in his suit with the tailor working away to make sure its perfect, i flash the tailor a glimce of my dress, just enough he is able to sort a matching tie for lucas.

standing on the pedistal infront of the mirror i feel awkward as the tailor is adjusting my suit i decided on a black suit so that my tie can be made the same colour as my luna's dress. hearing a gentle knock i know its Anya i can tell by here intoxicating fragrance, "come in my love" she peaks her head around the door to tell us she has her dress, after showing the tailor she zips it back up again, she even hid around a screen to make sure i know nothing about her dress, one week to go untill everything becomes offical.

after changing out of my suit and leaving our tailor to make any ajustments i head to my office to meet Anya and my parents, the next step before her luna ceremony is announcing it to the other packs, weve been putting it off so we wouldnt raise unwanted attention from a certain alpha and luna but with just 7 days to go it must go out today, weve already had the photograph taken for the announcement my parents next to me but slightly behind and her parents next to her but slightly behind. upon arrival our journalist is ready and waiting to show us the final draft of the announcement.

A MATE AT LAST

at long last Alpha Lucas has found his luna.

Alpha Lucas and Luna Anya have scheduled her Luna ceremony to take place a week today, the ceremony will also see Anya initiated into the midnight eclipse pack, the whole pack is expected to attend the extravigant e2vent.

"simple and to the point, lets get this out tonight so it hits first thing tomorrrow morning" i tell thr journalist as i open the door for him indicating it was time he left, i can sense the tention in the room as we all know word is going to get back to Sapphire Falls and given the recent rogue attack that we suspect was set up by Alpha Michael we have to be prepared for all senarios. looking over at Anya i can see the fear in her eyes at the prospect of him coming back for her.

Anya pov

as the journalist leaves the office i can feel my heart pounding in my chest, hes tried to find me once already hes definatly going to try again, i know it all adds up as evidence against him but it terrifies me, i jump suddenly as i feel lucas place his hand on my shoulder, "come my love" he says taking my hand in his and leading me downstairs to the table for dinner, "hes going to come for me, hes already tried once, theres nothing stopping him from trying again.

the next morning sitting at the breakfast table everyones talking excitedly about the upcoming luna ceremony making plans for the decorations and food, we had just made the decision to have BBQ when there is a knock at the door. Beta Mitch heads to get the door, upon his return we can see the colour has drained from his face a note clutched in his hand that reads IM COMING FOR YOU. YOUR MINE.

my hearts racing my chest tightening the next thing i know im coming too on the sofa, looking around i see my parents lucas parents standing glancing at me worridly lucas is sitting on the floor beside me while mitch is pacing the room.

a few days has passed since recieving the note its the day before my luna ceremony my nerves are shot, theres been no more notes sent and all the plans are going ahead as they should, i cant help but feel something is going to go wrong tomorrow i know we have our guards aswell as guards from the royal pack too, with the king arriving back later today and other alphas and lunas arriving too were going to have a houseful along with our final dress fittings to keep us busy.

standing at the front door with lucas were greeting guests and thats when i smell him Alpha Michael is here, along with his luna and beta and several pack members too, lucas pulls me behind him and Beta Mitch steps forward so im protected.

Lucas POV

we set Alpha Michael up in one of the guest houses rather than the pack house so Anya is more relaxed, she needs to sleep tonight tomorrow is going to be a long day.

everyone decides to turn in early with guards stationed at our door we both sleep soundly, that is until 2:30am rolls around and im woken to a blood curdling scream sitting bolt upright phoenix bursts forward almost causing us to shift there and then, and realise Anya is having a nightmare again, thrashing and screaming the door bursts open and our guard is there along with both our parents mitch, glancing back i see several alphas and lunas standing there concern etched on their faces, an hour later we finally wake Anya from the nightmare, the same one from the motel. Hes going to pay for this my love i promise her.

Anya pov

8am time to get up the big day is here, today i officailly become luna of midnight eclipse. after my shower i head down to breakfast, i feel everyone watching me as if im going to fall to the floor and break but no one dares mention the nightmare, after breakfast i head upstairs with my mum, lucas mum a hairstylist and a make up artist to start getting ready for the ceremony,

4 hours lots of hair spray bobby pins and mascara its time to get into my dress,

walking down the stairs i see our dads waiting for us after finding out that lucas and mitch are already waiting the 5 of us head out.

lucas grins from ear to ear as i make my way down the aisle towards him, the king standing next to him ready to lead the ceremony, i take lucas hands in mine and were about to start when there is an almighty roar, SHE IS MINE THIS CEREMONY CANNOT GO AHEAD, we turn to see Alpha Michael standing at the top of the aisle his luna standing beside him looking at the floor.

the king calmly states the mate bond is the most sacred bond there is it goes above all over contracts and agreements that may or may not of been made, if you truly have an issue with this pairing you will submit it in writing to my office by the end of the day today, now you need to leave, we have a ceremony to conduct.

firstly i pledge myself to Alpha Lucas and i feel the pack link snap into place and then i pledge myself to my new pack vowing to stand by their Alphas side and protect the pack at all costs, 30 minutes later the king announces to the pack

"i give you at long last your luna, Luna Anya Summers"
