MY SAVIOR

1035 Words
~Riley~ I was shocked to discover that Mr. Alexander Hamilton had saved me when I lost my balance since it seemed like he didn't really give a damn about anyone or anything. I started to believe that everything people had said about him had been false. He saved my life today, and for that, I was incredibly grateful. Even though I had experienced a lot, I wasn't prepared to pass on just yet. I also recalled how difficult it was for me to find employment after graduating from nursing school. I applied to numerous hospitals, but they turned me down because of my weak background. In addition, despite the fact that I did nothing to Claire, the person I called my best friend, she deceived me in this way. She truly committed all of these acts out of jealousy and envy. A voice said, "How do you feel?," drawing me back to the present. I was shocked as I sprung off the bed because I had no idea he would wait for me to recover. I told him, "I'm feeling okay, sir. Thanks." He saw the ring on my finger when he sat next to me on the bed. I chose to respond to the question he had posed to me in the store room after deciding to look up to him. "How I married the man who I thought loved me, how my best friend had betrayed me and how I wanted to get away from them" . He continued to listen to me after I informed him, and he nodded. "Is that all?" he inquired. Then I told him, "No." "Well, I would like to know if I am eligible to work for your company, sir. “Work for me? As what?" He inquired. As a member of your staff, please. I can help as a janitor or even serve as your guard. I replied, "After finishing school, I applied to a few hospitals, but I was not given any opportunity by them. "Since I fired my two secretaries, I've been considering getting a new one lately," he said to himself. "I need to know you first, I can't give you any job without knowing who you truly are," he added after a time. Riley Winter is my name, and I'm twenty years old. I recently got married, and I mistakenly believed that my husband loved me, not realizing that he was only using me to obtain his inheritance and that my closest friend had betrayed me. I bolted from the house when I realized why I was married to Leo, my husband, and that's how I ended up with you. All I need is a job so I can make money to move out of his place and acquire a new apartment." He just kept staring at me while I was telling him. He gave me his card and said, "I'll see what I can do; in the meantime, you can stop by the office tomorrow," as he stood up to go. I was ecstatic at the moment. "Why are you being intimate with my wife?" Suddenly, we were interrupted by a voice, and even without looking, I knew who it belonged to. I quickly accepted Alexander’s card. For a moment, I turned to face Leo, the reason I had come dangerously close to death. I returned my focus to Alexander as Leo approached us. All this time, he had not even glanced at Leo. Riley, I hope the best for you, he said to me. Alexander turned, and I saw the look of disbelief on Leo's face when he saw Alexander; well, who doesn't know Alexander around here, so of course he should be astonished. Surprised, he pointed a finger at Alexander and said "why?" Without saying anything further, Alexander turned his back on him and left. I followed him with my eyes out the door, and he paused to talk to his assistant about something I didn't know what it was since I didn't hear him. I couldn't help but wonder, "How can a man be so perfect?," because that's what he is to me. What people say doesn't matter to me. Alexander left, and I closed my eyes and pretended to be invisible. It's unreal that I will be stuck with this man forever, and I told myself that I would rather not go back to his apartment with him. I was legally obligated to Leo, so leaving wasn't an option and I still have to teach him and Claire a lesson so next time they won't think of messing with me again. "What is your relationship with Alexander Hamilton?" he asked, bringing me back to reality. "He's my childhood friend," I said a falsehood. Of course I had to, and once more, it doesn't concern him. "But how come and why didn't you tell me?" Leo asked, looking at me in shock. I chose to answer him by asking, "Why didn't you tell me you and Claire were dating?," I owe you no explanation because you both chose to keep me in the dark. Needless to say, it was pure coincidence that I ran into him after what you did; he saved my life; I'm sure it doesn't matter to you or Claire. Alexander went so far as to swear that you would be imprisoned if something happened to me. Leo stammered, his eyes widening in horror, Alexander Hamilton.. wants to truly send..me behind..bars? Ultimately, he has no right to meddle or pursue me simply because he is a rich CEO; after all, you are my wife. I grumbled, "Unless we are In front of your family, don't ever refer to me as your wife, again." Claire came in and saw me, she hissed then she hurried over to Leo. "Hun, are you okay?" "It's unbelievable that this b***h hurt you so badly; it would have been preferable if she had passed away." For stating that, I wanted to slap her extremely hard, but I decided not to. I was thrilled as I thought of the card Alexander had given me. "I can't wait to meet him tomorrow to see what he has for me," I told myself.
