Where It All Begins

Aria,

You have been a great friend in such a short time of knowing you. I didn't think I needed or wanted any friends but you awakened my human side that still longs for such things. I wanted to be alone and live with my curse for as long as I chose to live. I brought this evil to you without knowing but I should have known it would follow me. After coming home and facing my old demons I thought I could come back to you and be normal but I am not. I still feel the pull to my creator and I know she wants me, to either pay or be a slave to her will but I will be neither. I wish I had the will to kill her but I don't. I want to keep you and your growing family safe. I do not want her to find you and cause you any more pain. I know you will tell your husband that I have fed on you but I think you must know... my bite contains my poison, my venom, my curse. You didn't die so it did not turn you and I only bit you for a short period so there was never that big of a chance that you would turn but I began to think of the baby. One of you was vulnerable and could have absorbed the little bit of venom that entered your bloodstream when I bit you. Please do not hate me for this but just be aware and take care of yourself and your little one. Your blood is very addictive and I was sure I didn't have the will to stay away from you. You are a good person Aria and I hope to see you once more in my long lifetime.

I knew I had to let her know. Aria was a good person and become a dear friend. She wasn't chosen because of me but I still felt it was all my fault. I couldn't bring my self to kill Valencia and so she came to Aria's town and tried to kill her mate. I wanted to stay by her side but I knew it would put a target on her back and she was pregnant. I would never be able to live with myself if something happened to her. I was so sure Valencia would leave her alone if I was far away from her. I stayed away for as long as I could but I was curious. After several years passed I wanted to check on her and her family. I wondered if something bad had resulted in my biting Aria. I didn't think I would go up to her and ask but I wanted to observe and see for myself if something did happen to her unborn child because of me.

I made my way to her pack territory. It was easy to slip passed her line due to my stealth and a bit of witch power. Her pack had grown so much since the merger. There were wolves everywhere. I was heading to her home when I stumbled upon a group of teenagers in the woods. They were laughing and joking around. I looked closer at the trio and saw those hazel eyes that matched her mothers but unlike her mother, she had black hair like her father. Her laugh was soft and tender. It was contagious and drew me in. I followed them all the way to a nearby lake. She was the first one to strip down to her underwear and jump in. She was wild and bold like her mother as well. The other young women with them swam on her own and left the other two alone. They began to move closer to each other and I was becoming uneasy. I didn't know why it bothered me at all to see them so close. They were still laughing and joking around. Suddenly, they started kissing and I became more annoyed. I didn't want to continue to watch them but she was the reason I was here. A small part of me still wanted to see Aria but right now watching her daughter laugh alongside this boy was the only thing I could focus on. They stayed frolicking in the lake for a long while when suddenly they all got out and got dressed. They laid on the grass for a few and then heard someone calling them so they got up and left. She was always smiling. She had a cute dimple smile. She made it to a house I didn't know and was welcomed by Alpha Mason. I remembered him for that time not too long ago. Apparently, that young man was his son. I didn't want to eavesdrop but I think this was the only way to know any details about this child. Well, she wasn't really a child. She was a beautiful young woman. They talked for a bit and I heard a few things I wished I hadn't but I kept my focus on her. I wanted to see if she had any side effects from my venom.

I spent the entire day watching her and nothing unusual happened. She was finally going home but I then heard a siren, rogues were in the area. I saw five men ran towards the girl and surround her. She looked like she knew them so I realized they were there to protect her. They quickly took her to the home I recognized. Aria and James both ran out and shifted in mid-air. They ran towards the pack line but I stayed with the girl. She went upstairs to her room and I just sat there looking at her through the window. She looked worried. She grabbed her phone and put some headphones on. She laid back on her bed until her parents came home. The minute her parents came home they had a pack meeting and then went up to talk to her. I don't really remember anything they said to her but I did remember what they called her.

Her name was Delilah. I guess this is where it all begins and perhaps ends for me.
