It morning,the breeze blowing the curtain letting the brightness of the morning sun shine onto her face,she reluctantly get up from the bed yawns,walks to the window closed it to prevent the sun from coming in,the sound of Kate’s car startled her as she was about to close the windown,Josephena call out to her waving from the car.

Kate enter the house with a cake in her hand placed it on the center table.

josephena comes in dragging two bags with her,Ami took one from her.

Ami ask, what in the bag?.

Josephena reply,it no school day,its time to enjoy.

Nanny welcome them with a smile,it nice to have you here,I will prepare tacos for you,she carry the cake to the kitchen.

Kate ask, you invited Jim to the competition but didn’t tell us about it.

Josephena cut in,Micheal was angry to see Jim,maybe he likes you.

Ami reply, I didn’t invite Jim, Emily sent her a letter inviting her to the

competition with my name on it.

Kate says,how did she find out who he is?.

Josephena reply,Max is very talented at that,he can get you any information you need as long as you pay him,maybe Emily reach out to him.

Nanny place the tacos on the table goes back to the kitchen brings out the cake on a plate beside it are apples and strawberries.

“They chorus,thanks Nanny”.

Kate ask,why do you think she did that? She doesn’t have a reason to invite Jim.

Ami reply,she doesn’t want Micheal to have anything to do with me.

Josephena speaks,she doesn’t like anyone getting close to Micheal,she

only want him for herself,she bullies any female student that get close to him.

Kiana walks in to the house carrying 10 different shopping bags with her place them on the table,”take a taco,”hmm it wonderful she carry her bags and go up to her room.

Josephena laughs at her behaviour,few days ago I went to the mall with my mum,we saw her fighting over a bag insisting that she took it first,mum steps in to help resolve the matter.

mum doesn’t like her, why did she help her?Kate ask.

Mum helped her because of Austin, he is a very renown person in Tophill city,she doesn’t want her to tarnish his reputation.

Ami says,she always have a new thing to buy,any new designs on market she will be the first to purchase it,she spends lavishly.

How dare you speak ill of my mum,Emily says as she approach them,

“she looked at Ami”you brought in these bitchs to insult my mum.

Ami stands up and says,after all she is a mistress,she is a home distroyer, a nobody,she came out of nowhere to destroy my father’s life.

A slap landed on Ami’s cheek,she looked up to see who it is ,dad, she call out.

“Kate and Josephena aghast”.

How dare you speak of your mother that way,she has been taken care of you ever since your mother died,look at how sad she is pointing to her direction.

Kiana stands on the stairs weeping,Austin walks to her and take her to their room.

Josephena whisper to kate,how long has she been listening to us,they watch as Austin take her to the room.

Emily look at Kate and Josephena and says,for your unfortunate information your result is out and we meet in school for that and walks out.

Ami sit quietly surprised by her father’s action,she keeps her hand on her cheek feeling the pain.

Josephena ask,should I bring you an ice?

Kate reply, shove it down your throat.

Josephena gaps,am only trying to help,she kind of need it.

Ami take a piece of cake throw it at Josephena landing on her shirt.

Josephena livid,take a taco and throw it back at her handing on her face,”she shout”, nice shot.

kate laughs as they take turn throwing food at each other,a piece of taco enter Kate mouth,she shout making Ami and Josephena laugh,they chase one another in the house laughing.

Emily stands by the stairs watching them, “fools”,and turn to leave.

Students running after one another in the hall way,shouting and laughing.

Emily enter the class,here is the competition result holding out papers

in the air,”they kept quiet”,each group is given the same result,she call out names of the teams,team medical got 99%,team marathon got 78%,the race team got 85% and 80%.

James raise his hand,there was two teams for the race, Ralph team and

my team,who has 85%.

Emily reply,you were in the same team with Ami’s team and you guys came second in the race so you got 80% while Ralph’s team came first so the first position goes to them leaving them with 85%.

James ask,we came second in the race,why did we get 80%?your team did nothing and got 99%.

Anitha protrude,we were on stand by since the beginning of the race till the end,we did not leave our post during the competition while some people kept disappearing.

Kate stands up from her sit,we did our best during the competition which almost took life out of me,”what”,78%, who gave out such remarks?.

Mr Rico enters,I did,if you have a problem with it you can withdraw your name from the team,he instruct,sit down we have books to study.

At lunch,Josephena is looking around the cafeteria.

What are you looking for ? did you miss Max’s trouble?

She pull James by his hair,I have nothing to do with that son of a b***h, get that into your skull.

I haven’t seen Micheal since he had a fight with Jim wonder if he’s alright.

James wimp,let go of my hair it hurts, he sit up properly dusting his hair, does that mean he’s embarrassed to show his face after the fight.

Josephena pull his hair again,Kate and Ami rush to separate them.

Ami and Kate laughs,you are always fighting each other.

“Moya walks pass their table”,Kate stopped him, why is Micheal not in

school?

Josephena cut in,is something wrong with him? Is he alright?

James speaks, sometimes I wonder if you two are twins or not,”he looks at Josephena and nod his head”.

Josephena chase after him in the cafeteria,he bumped into Ralph,

Josephena stands still watching him get bully by Ralph.

Ralph remove james glasses break it into two throw it on the floor smash it with his leg.

Kate approach him,what have you done? Is it a crime that he bumped into you?

It is a crime for bumping into someone.

Everyone look dumbfounded to see Max standing beside Ralph.

Kate speaks,Max,how can you be here?

Am I not allow to be here? Am a student of this school and I can come anytime I want.

Ami protrude,you were ban from school,your three weeks exit is not

complete,how can you be here?

He move close to Ami,your protector is not here”,he points to the other students” your protector micheal is not in school, I can come in as I please so get the f**k out of my way.

Moya stands in his way,because Micheal is not in school doesn’t mean you have to barge in without completing your punishment,it under the school rule which everyone that falls into the category of bulling has to face.

He look Moya in the eye, I can do as I please.

Emily intervene, Mr Rico has cancelled his ban so he’s free to come in anytime he wants.

Josephena drag Kate and Ami out of the crowd,James follow them.

why will Mr Rico do that?,Ami ask.

Kate reply,maybe there is something going on between them.

Josephena contribute,Max may have something on him, he lives on street,he may have dug up a dirt on him and use it against him.

She looks at James,are you alright?

James kept quiet as they walk out of the school.

Josephena offer they drop him at home.

He decline,I have to stop by at the mall to get a new glasses,he says and leave.

Moya drive into the parking lot steps out of the car enter the elevator get out on the 12th floor stands in front of a large door at the far edge of the hall press the pin and enter,”he stands still reporting”,Max is back in school,Mr Rico has dismissed his ban.

A tall guy stands by the cabinet pouring himself a drink,He smiles,I expected that from Mr Rico but it took him awhile to get his nephew back to school.He take a picture from the table looks at it and place it back on the table,”looks at Moya”,did you get what I asked of you?.

Moya hand him a brown envelope.

He looks at it, Jim is the son of Mr Enest,”he laughs”,how is that possible?, Mr Enest has only one son,”he smirk”, is there another son I don’t know of?.

Moya ask,do you want me to dig further on the guy?.

There’s no need, I don’t have time to waste on their nonsense.How did Ami get betroth to him?.

Moya reply,The marriage was arranged by her mother before she died,Ami has never met him before,their first meeting was on the competition day.Jim was invited by Emily without Ami’s knowledge.

Mr Enest will never get himself in something that doesn’t favor him, why is he fulfilling the promise made years ago?.

Moya reply,Ami is the largest share holder of the company her father runs,her mother inherited the company from Ami’s grandfather and her mother willed it to her before she died.

He smirk, Mr Enest is the man of his name,am sure there’s something going on in his head.

Moya ask,what do you want me to do?.

He reply,lets watch for now.

A tall dark fat man sit by the window side of the room signing documents,he give the signed document to the man standing beside his table, let work begin on it.

He reply,yes sir.

Jim enter the office, Mr Collins,good evening.

Mr Collins reply,good evening.

Mr Enest look at him, why didn’t you tell me that you met Ami?

Jim looks at Mr Collins and smile,dad nothing get pass you,she invited me to the school competition, I had to honor my future wife’s invitation.

Mr Enest speaks, don’t let the marriage get into your brain, there’s a reason you have to marry that girl don’t mess it up for me.

Jim reply, yes sir.

Nanny setting the table for breakfast,”Ami hug her from behind,” good morning Nanny.

Good morning cupcake.

There’s only three days left before her marriage,she shouldn’t be going to school anymore, please stop her she doesn’t listen to me, Kiana says looking at Austin.

Ami cut in, getting marry doesn’t prevent me from going to school and am in my last year, why should I stop now?.

Austin says, she has to finish her education to take over the company,

don’t stop her from going to school.

Emily is the class president of her class, doesn’t that prove that she can handle the company better than Ami?.

“Austin exclaim”, stands up and leave.

Ami helping Nanny with the dishes in the kitchen, you don’t want to be late for your class, go I will finish cleaning the dish.

A loud voice coming from Emily’s room, I told you not to interfere, I will handle the matter myself just stick to shopping since that’s the only thing you are good at.

Ami looks at Nanny, “they laugh.”

At school,Josephena came running into the class.

James fluster,have you taken a mission to get rid of the fat in your body?

Josephena move to him angry, pick up a textbook from his table bang it on his head.

“Ouch”, he place his hand on his head rubbing it,you bully me every time I have a conversation with you.

Because you deserve it,she sit down on her chair, Micheal is back in school, I just saw him entering the teachers office.

James cut in, Micheal is the reason you ran with that your overweight body.

She kick him by his leg, shut your mouth or I will cut it off.

Micheal enter the class points at Ami to come,she follows him out of the class.

“James whisper to josephena’s ear”, You went mutt the minute Micheal comes in.

She snapped at him, should I jump at him?, am just happy that he’s back.

As Anitha walks in she overheard their conversation ran out to find Emily.

Ami is thrill to see Micheal standing in front of her,why didn’t you come to school all this days?.

I told you I have exam.

How were you able to write with your hand,she look at his hand found the cast gone, oh you’ve removed it.

Do you have to go ahead with the marriage?, if you are been force I can

help you out with it.

Ami dumbfounded, what have you got to do with my marriage? Whether I go through with it or not it none of your damn business,she says and walk away.

Anitha and Emily hide behind the school building spying on them.

Anitha ask,did they fight.

Emily snap at her, we couldn’t hear anything, how will I know, let’s go.
