HIS SECRET LOVER

“HEY, YOU WRITE AMAZING”! “YOUR THOUGHTS ARE SO NATURAL”! “HOW CAN YOU THINK SO DEEP”! Kia was going through the comments that she has received on her new post. She has been posting her thoughts on social media for two years. In just a span of two years, she got five thousand followers and that too just by her thoughts and not a single post of her picture or about herself. Kia was a shy and a little  introvert kind of girl who hardly had ten friends in her life but those were enough for her. She had a belief that instead of having hundreds of friends just for namesake,  she would love to have a few trustworthy friends. She used to love writing her  thoughts and messages that would occur in her mind after every introspection session she would have with herself in the night. But never ever she had thought of posting her ideas online until she  met her crush, “SAM”, whom she has become a secret lover. And now she is  determined to make him,  her lover too. Sam too has an account on social media and he is quite a popular guy ( 1.5k followers). He loves to play football obviously like every other guy and is pursuing his career in acting recently. His father is a director who has directed many regional films, her mother owns a boutique and her sister studies in New York. Well, they are quite a high- class family who lives near our heroine. How Kia fell in love with Sam is quite a history...         2 YEARS BACK After getting an ‘F’ Grade in her mid-level mathematics exam Kia was sent by her father to his friend who used to tutor for Mathematics subject. There she met Sam but was least interested in him. Actually, she was not interested in any of the boys present there but coincidentally she became a very good friend with Sam’s sister VEENA, who was only one year older than him. Unlike her brother, she was a good student and helped Kia a lot. But after one year she left the classes and our Kia became quite alone. She put all her efforts into studies and surprisingly Mathematics became her favorite subject. On the other side, Sam was an average student who was least interested in studies . But Sam and Kia shared one common thing, they both had a common friend VICKY, who also used to study there and was as intelligent,  as Kia. Usually, there would be competition between the two, to solve the questions more quickly than each other and that’s how they became good friends.  After studying there for two years Kia somehow started noticing Sam and started liking him. And eventually whom she felt was the most annoying student in the class, became a crush of hers. She started dressing quite nicely, her day would become incomplete if Sam would bunk classes. By using Vicky’s help She would try to talk to Sam but he rarely small talked with her. Kia had braces and she always felt that to be a reason why Sam barely talked to her. When their final examination was about to start, their teacher took an extra class of Sam, Vicky and, Kia, and that day something happened which always brings a smile to Kia’s face whenever she remembers it. After getting advice from their teacher on some important questions and tips about how to give paper efficiently their class came to an end. Kia was upset as this was the last time she was seeing Sam although he lived near her still she will not get an opportunity to talk to him. But who knew that God has a sweet surprise for her. Three of them were walking together to their home as the distance was very small.  Suddenly a bike came at a very high speed and had collided with Kia had Sam not jumped to save her. Kia nearly passed out but when she came to her senses she noticed that she was lying in Sam’s arm on the road. Kia felt this was more shocking than a bike collision.  Vicky helped both of them to stand on their feet. And he realized that Kia’s face had turned very red and offered to take her to hospital. But only she knew what was the main reason for her redness. After that, Sam bade them goodbye and left, but when he was leaving Kia’s heart started pumping fast because before Sam could leave Kia watched him smile and that smile, oh my god took away her breath.  After that day she never encountered Sam, he had passed across her house many times  but she never had the courage to speak to him. Exams were over,  students came to meet their teacher but Kia never saw Sam there at all. Time flew and Kia completed her senior high education but never a day passed when she did not remember Sam. He lived near her but was miles away far from her. Kia was proposed by many guys and every time she would use Sam as her shield telling that she has a boyfriend but never disclosed his name. She used to find it very funny and sorrowful that she has a boyfriend who doesn’t know about her girlfriend. Kia always had this feeling that she was incomplete.  She always felt that Sam was a distant dream which she could see but has no capabilities to fulfill. She felt that a girl like her is not at all compatible for a boy like him who is a cool dude whereas she, a nerdy girl. Although Kia’s braces were removed and she looked beautiful too but she always used to self- doubt her. Kia’s friends used to tell her to go and approach Sam but she always gave them excuses saying t that if her destiny wants her to be together with Sam, she would be eventually be with him and there is no need for her to initiate.  One day while walking on the terrace, a thought came to her mind that whatever we need we have to work for it, we study for good marks, we practice sports for medals, we work for income, then why can’t she work harder for Sam. This thought gave her new hope and from that day she was all set to achieve her distant dream, to make him her, to introduce Sam with his secret lover.
