Chapter Three - Queen's Last Hope

In the United Kingdom, England is a country that shares land borders with Wales to the west and Scotland to the North. The Irish Sea lies west of England and the Celtic Sea to the Southwest. England is separated from continental Europe by the North Sea to the east and the English Channel to the south. The castle is located in the Northside of England where there are upland and mountainous terrain. The town is called Butteryhaugh and only werewolves reside in that area with the Royal family.

After King Frederick Windsor ended the call with Julie RavenWolf, Queen Elena Churchill walked into the office unexpectedly and sat down in a chair facing the King. King Frederick's first thoughts were ‘what the hell are you doing here.’ The King has given the Queen some more time to get pregnant but now that he found out the witch was pregnant, he did not care for the Queen to bear any children for him. Of course, he did not tell that to his Queen. He wanted to keep this secret away from her and the kingdom.

“Good day, my King. Sorry to barge into your office like that, I was hoping to get information about my best friend Julie RavenWolf. Have you heard anything from her lately? I heard you talking on the phone just a while ago and I thought I heard her name. I thought maybe you were talking to her. I really do miss her,” said Queen Elena while staring into the King’s eyes looking for any lies.

The King knew what she was doing. He is not stupid to keep a lie from the Queen. So he decided to tell the truth but did not tell the whole truth for the Queen’s sake. While the King was staring back at the Queen, he smiles and began to respond.

“Well, you’ve caught me then. I was indeed talking to Julie RavenWolf. She sends her best regards,” said King Frederick.

“Really, that’s all she said? Where is she? Is she coming back? How long have you been talking to her? What else did she say,” asked Queen Elena with so much excitement of energy coming out from her?

“Calm down, Elena, one question at a time. She didn’t say much. She just wanted to know how we are doing and didn’t give much about where she was staying. She is mated to a werebear and they are expecting their first child,” said King Frederick while smirking at the Queen after he mentioned Julie’s pregnancy.

“What? How? Why? How far along is she? I’m the one that should be pregnant first, not her. Ahhhh, I hate my life,” said Queen Elena sounding very frustrated and angry at the same time.

“Elena, snap out of it. The last thing I heard about both of you is that you guys were no longer friends. You have cast her out of your life, so why do you care so much about her now? Julie’s life is none of your business and I suggest you stop asking so many questions about her. So get out of my office unless there is something important you must ask me before you go,” said King Frederick while yelling at the Queen. The Queen was getting on his nerves and he did not want to deal with the woman at the moment.

“I’m sorry my King. It won’t happen again. I did come here for a reason. I’ve found a witch who can help us conceive a child. Well, it’s been over three months since I have found her, but I wasn’t too sure if I want to go with the magic potion the witch can make, until now. I ran into her just a while ago before coming here and the witch has persuaded me to go on with the magic potion she had made for me. I was convinced and I came here to talk to you about this magic potion. Look, I even bright the vial she gave me. All I need to do is drink this potion 30 minutes before having s****l intercourse to conceive a child. Are you up for it,” asked Queen Elena while holding the vial ready to be used?

It’s been five years since the Queen has been trying and given up. She asked her friend, Julie RavenWolf, for some help, but she turned her down due to the consequences of the magic potion. If Julie RavenWolf did help her, the child will not live a very long life due to the spell. So the Queen was better off not dealing with spells/magic potions from a witch. So both the Queen and Julie broke up their friendship and that was the last time the witch saw her Queen.

The Queen was so desperate to conceive their first child. About three months ago, a few days after Julie RavenWolf have left the Werewolf Kingdom; Queen Elena Churchill sought out a witch that she heard about in the market within the city. The Queen found the witch and asked about a magic spell to conceive a child.

The Queen understood the consequences. She didn’t care that the child will not live long. She only cared to just conceive a child for the king and show everyone that she was able to bear a child. But that day, she decided not to take the vial from the witch. The Queen was having second thoughts. The King does not know what the consequences are.

“I’m down for it. I’ll be done here in a few minutes before dinner. Once dinner is over you can take the vial and we will wait to conceive this child you so much want. I am ok to try new things with you, my Queen if this makes you happy. Is there a catch or side effects,” asked King Frederick?

“No, there are no side effects. All should be well,” said Queen Elena who had to lie about the consequences.

“Alright then, let’s try this tonight before bed. I hope your wish comes true,” said King Frederick who was looking towards later tonight.

“I’m looking forward to it, my King,” said Queen Elena before exiting from the King’s office with a smile on her face. Elena will finally be able to conceive a child she’s been waiting for.
