What do you mean by that, Luna?" You don't know how much you are loved. But that's all I can say for now, beloved. And that's your number one mission. Your second mission on earth, is to wipe out that lawless tradition that says being a silver wolf is a curse. And your third mission, Evil people will come after you and you make corrections to that and the good news is that your powers will be unlocked."
Wow, this was a lot to take in! A second chance at love, a mission to change people's minds about silver wolves, and the promise of new powers. It was all overwhelming, but Eliana knew she had to be brave.
"I will do my best, Luna," she said, determination filling her heart. "I will not let you down. I will complete the missions you have set for me, and I will find a way to be happy, even if it seems impossible."
"That is all I ask, beloved," said Luna, a smile playing across her lips." But with your new love life, there shall be little challenges, but you shall scale through them. Be yourself, never let anyone walk all over you, you are determined. I can see that through you, and you shall be great."
The moon goddess spoke and moved closer to her and the next thing, she placed her hand on Eliana's head and whispered something.
"You can now go beloved. Be good!" Eliana slowly opened her eyes and found herself in a sumptuous bedroom, unlike any she had ever seen before. The sheets were made of the finest silk, and the room was filled with exquisite furnishings. But it was the sight that really took her breath away. She was overlooking a lush green valley, with rolling hills and mountains in the distance. The sun was shining brightly, and a gentle breeze was blowing through the open window.
As she took in her surroundings, Eliana realized something else - something that made her heart skip a beat. The room was not just luxurious, it was also surprisingly comfortable. The bed was soft and inviting, the pillows fluffy and plump. The curtains were a light, airy fabric that billowed in the breeze. There was a small table by the window, with a fresh bouquet of flowers in a vase. Everything was arranged with such care and attention to detail, as if the room had been designed with her comfort in mind. And yet, it was all so unfamiliar to Eliana. Where was she? How had she gotten here? As Eliana's gaze swept across the room, she noticed a man standing in the corner, watching her. He was tall and broad-shouldered, with piercing blue eyes and a strong, chiseled jaw. His hair was dark and wavy, and he was dressed in a simple but elegant shirt and trousers. He looked like he could have been a model or an actor, he was so handsome. But there was something else about him, something that Eliana couldn't quite put her finger on. There was an intensity in his eyes, a depth of emotion that seemed to go beyond mere looks. Eliana got scared and shifted backwards like she was about to move into the wall. She covered her chest. That was the first thing she did.
"Who are...who are you? Why am I here? What did you want from me?"
As Eliana asked, she couldn't help but take in her surroundings." Uh. The name is Magnus. My pack members and I were hunting in the forest, and we saw your body laid there in the..." She didn't want him to complete whatever he had to say.
She could remember how she was buried alive vividly. She doesn't want to trigger bad memories. Oh, I'm so sorry! I misunderstood you. I thought you were referring to the man who was speaking to you as Magnus. I see now that you were talking about a different person named Magnus. Please, I'm sorry for the confusion!
What can I help you with next? Would you like me to pretend that the conversation didn't happen, and we can start over again?" Hello, I'm Magnus," the man said, offering Eliana a warm smile. His blue eyes were gentle and kind, and Eliana found herself relaxing a bit. "And you are?" he asked, his voice soft and inviting.
Eliana took a deep breath. "I'm Eliana," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. "And... and what do you want with me?" What do you want from me? Do you want to kill me too? I am not going to..."
Magnus didn't allow her to finish speaking.
"I don't intend to hurt you and I understand how you feel." He put his words simply and turned around.
Then he suddenly turned back.
The maids did the clothes change. I didn't."
Then he walked outside. Eliana was left standing there, feeling a mixture of relief and confusion. Magnus didn't seem to be a threat, but she still couldn't quite wrap her head around what he wanted from her. And why had he mentioned the maid changing her clothes? Was he implying that he hadn't done anything inappropriate to her while she was unconscious?
She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts.
She took a few steps towards the door, peering out into the hallway. She saw no sign of Magnus, and the corridor was empty. Where had he gone? And where was she, exactly? As she was about to take a step, her feet failed her, and she stumbled on the floor.
Then Magnus turned back when he heard her. He went back to her.
He helped her up and helped her to bed.
Magnus' face was full of concern as he helped Eliana to bed. He was gentle and careful, as if he was afraid that she would break if he was too rough. Once she was settled, he sat down beside her, looking at her with a mixture of compassion and worry.
"You're very weak," he said, his voice soft. "You need to rest and regain your strength."
Eliana nodded, suddenly feeling exhausted. She hadn't even realized how weak she was until Magnus pointed it out. She wanted nothing more than to close her eyes and sleep.
