I have been worried about my best friend for a while now, and after this whole kidnapping, Destiny bullshît.

I shouldn't be helping him, but what can I say? I love the guy and since high school I know how much he loves Destiny, but after graduation things seemed to change for them both, but in a different way for Destiny. She seemed to pull away from the group and even more so towards Jarod, and when she ended things to leave for college I knew she had stayed in town for the rest of the summer.

Jarod says that I am wrong, but I know better. I saw her myself and her father told my crew we couldn't tell anyone she was still in town, so nobody knew she was still in town and Jarod didn't believe me, so I let it go. But over the years, he has stayed in love with the girl to the point it's an obsession now, and he is willing to do anything to have her.

Imagine my surprise when I saw the one and only missing person, Destiny Waters, right here in Solway, visiting my aunt with my mother. What shocks me is the fact that she didn't even recognize me.

I debated about if I should hide from her or not because if she knew who took her she might remember me helping him when she was brought from the city to the abandoned farm house just outside of town. She was in bad shape. They beat her pretty badly.

I'm surprised she healed as well as she has, or maybe she looked worse than she was. Either way, she is in the same town as me and the right thing to do is call her in for the reward money, but then that wouldn't be the right thing for Jarod so I'm following her and five others around town and taking pictures of her.

Jarod is going to go off when he sees her and sees the man she is kissing and holding onto. He is going to go.bat.shît.crazy. That she is with another man. Maybe I should withhold this information for a few days just to see what his reaction will be to her family, knowing where she is and visiting her here like this is her home. Hmm..

This seems odd to me. Why would her family be here visiting her when she is supposedly missing? This does not make sense. I need to get more information.

They leave the current store, and go into the town diner. I waited about 10 minutes before I went inside. I found where they were sitting and sat in a booth where I could see them, but the lattice on the open space and the leaves from the plant hid me from their view.

The waitress comes and takes my drink order and hands me the menu I have eaten here before, and I pass her the menu back and order my food, keeping watch on them.

I watched them while they ate, while I did too, when I noticed Destiny looking around like she was looking for something and the guy she is with cuddles and babies her I can see they are a couple, but when did they get together I know she hasn't dated anyone since Jarod, so this has to be new. Her mother and Natalie are all talking with the twins, but Destiny is barely eating her food now. I wonder if she notices that she is being watched hmm.. I'll have to keep myself hidden. I don't want to draw attention to myself.

They pay and leave. I watch them as they walk down to the western type store. I pay and leave as quickly as I can without drawing attention to myself. I got to the store and entered. I didn't see Destiny yet, so I walked slowly around looking for her.

When I see them, she is trying on boots and arguing with the man she's with. I move around the wall where I can hear them, and listen to her argue with the man she called William about buying things for her and I can't help but wonder if she remembers the fact that she doesn't like anyone to do things for her. At least, that's been my observation through the years of following her and getting people to watch her for Jarod.

I watch as they walk around to the jeans, and she takes a few in a dressing room. The guy walks away, so I rush to the next room and wait a minute. Standing on the bench, I peek over to the side and see she's undressing and putting on the jeans. I snap pictures as she tries them on. She takes the last pair off and pulls her pants back on my phone, dings alerting her to me, and she looks up at me, with wide eyes letting out an ear-drum shattering scream, "shịt!"

I jumped down, waiting to get out of there. I got down and crawled out from under the back wall, stood up, and turned to look for a direction I could go. As I turned the corner, I heard Natalie say, " Jesse, what are you doing here?" fûck, I'd been caught. "Oh Natalie, hi, what are you doing here?" I told her I was visiting my aunt with my mom. She looked around and said, "Oh, where's your mom? I haven't seen her for a long time."

"Oh, um.. She went back with Aunt Nadine. She wasn't feeling well, so I thought I'd do some shopping for myself." I hope she buys it. I see Jason and Jeremy come around the corner, and Jason freezes. He looks at me with a look that says he doesn't like that I am here. They both approached and asked, "What the fûck are you doing here?" Natalie tells them what I told her. Jeremy crowded her space. I narrowed my eyes at him and asked her, "Does Jarod know where you are, Natalie?" I should have kept my mouth shut.

Jason had me by my throat in the blink of an eye, I pushed him back off me. "Fûck you Jason", I said as he grabbed my shirt, dragging me out of the store.

I shrugged him off. Cross the street. I turned to face him, and there was Jason, Natalie, Jeremy, and Katherine Fûck. What was I thinking? Damn it. Jason gets in my face, saying, "What did you do? I shook my head and said, "Nothing dude, I was just shopping."

What are you doing here in this town? So I explained the truth about coming here with my mother to visit my aunt and leaving out anything to do with Jarod. I hear the man, I can't remember his name, calling Destiny, and looked over to see her running at me. Her brothers catch her, stopping her from coming closer. She shouts at me.

"Did you do this? Did you take me? I think you were there with that man with green eyes." Shocked, I said, "No..no. what are you talking about, Destiny? We are friends I"... Natalie interferes and says, "No, she's my friend, your Jarod's friend, not ours." I shake my head but get cut off by Destiny's question. "Who's Jarod?" What?? The hell she doesn't remember. Oh! Shît they must have caused her to have memory loss, and she doesn't know!!! I need to report this news to Jarod, and I really hope he lets this go, because I don't think I want to be part of this shît anymore. He is my best friend, but he is also a selfish bâstard and I refuse to go down with him if it ends that way...
