Chapter 3 Good wife.

JIA XIA

The next few weeks went by so fast.

I had already gotten used to being alone every day with just Mrs Noona in the house.

Xavier came home once since the wedding and than I was alone.

I knew that from the start things are going to be like this but sometimes I feel like I made the biggest mistake.

I have been studying from home and haven't left home since I came here as that was in the contract.

As I busied myself with my homework I heard a car.

I got up and looked out the window in the living room.

It was Xavier's.

O god if he sees me living here like i own this house...

I quickly grabbed my books and cleared up the living room than skipping some stairs ran up to my room.

I got to my room just when I heard his voice coming from the living room.

I closed the door and unpacked my books and took a deep breath before continuing my studies.

I was busy trying to figure out a math equation when suddenly he spoke.

"If you bring down the X and multiple yhe value of A than..."

He looked right into my eyes.

When did he come in.

Like...

"um sorry... I just wanted to see how you were doing so.."

I didn't speak.

Than when he turned around to leave I found my voice.

"I am good, thanks sir... I am happy you finally came home, i mean to your home.."

God damit,stupid can't you speak properly.

I slapped my self in my mind.

He turned around and smiled as if he was amused.

He walked back to me and sat down.

He took my book and flipped through the pages.

" you know I was a math genius in middle school so I can help you if you need me..."

He was so close to me.

He was warm and smells so good

I just smiled and nodded.

Soon we were busy talking like old friends.

Finally Mrs Noona called us for dinner.

We both went down but the minute i saw the table setting I remembered the contract.

I wasn't allowed to have meals with him if we was alone.

So I took a step back and went back to my room.

I closed the door and suddenly felt sad.

I was so happy he was helping me with my work I forgot this was all just a contract marriage.

Mrs Noona came and asked me to come down.

I told her I was fine, and wanted to finish my work as it was due tomorrow.

Knowing it was only due in two days.

But I had no other excuse as to why I wasn't eating with Xavier.

She just smiled than left.

Later when I heard Xavier closed his room door i quietly went down and ate my ice cold supper.

I didn't want to make noise so I just ate it like that.

In my room I showered and than went to bed...

I wished Xavier would be gone tomorrow.

So I could enjoy my supper at least.
