Because I Hear the Voices

For years, I have been wondering For years, I have been left in the dark I do not understand the reasoning, But I know it left its mark. I don’t know how I feel -  And what’s worse I don’t know why? All I know is that I am not ready yet It’s not yet time for me to fly, When I try to express my anger I somehow have to cry And I don’t know how to express my feelings That’s why a part of me had to die, How easy it was to be a child How easy it was to understand How hard it is to grow up now And somehow learn to stand, I don’t know what to do And I don’t know where to go I don’t even know what I can say Or if I’ll ever know.
