Chapter 31 Kendall burst out of the cave and into the desert. He looked over his shoulder and didn’t see anyone pursuing him. He hadn’t been seen. He had escaped while Geoffrey and the provolone were working on the ship, after the grains had disappeared deeper into the cave. They hadn’t checked his body, and he was grateful for it.
