"Hey, you seem kind of cool. Want to hang out?" Jocelyn asks Ashley. They were the only single ones here, at the party - except for Jade's mother.
Jocelyn asked nicely, in a friendly tone but Ashley's brain immediately went to overdrive.
Is she asking me out? Does she want to date me? I've never had a girlfriend before, just platonic and good s*x since men always come off short. I mean, wow, she's hot too. I could definitely go for her. Ashley thought to herself all the possibilities and the meanings behind Jocelyn's invitation for hanging out.
"Uhm, sure." Ashley couldn't ask Jocelyn what kind of hang out she meant.
