"When did you say he was coming?"
"About an hour."
"Why are you dressing up?"
Kheshannah was wearing a bit of make up, like how she was doing her vlog. She wore tight crop top and some white women slacks. She looked dignified but how come she's never dressed that way for me before?
"Because he was a high school friend." I could sense the disinterest in her voice when she answered me.
Maybe I'm just overanalyzing things, right?
"Oh, okay."
I sit on the sofa and grab Pepper. I let him sit on my lap and he stayed there, not struggling to get away. He was pretty smart himself. Not what a trainer is finally coming over, I'm having second thoughts. I shake my head.
This is for the best. This is what Pepper needs right now.
"You be a good boy, okay, Pepper?" he bark
