Start of the end

    Ever since he saw that strange light in the sky, his brain had not given him peace. He always looked at the sky expecting some similar or maybe even better "show" in the sky. 

    Marlon was on his way to college when he thought he saw some flash in the sky again. He looked up and as a small child, he kept his head pointed high towards the sky expecting an answer and he got it ...

    The next flash he saw were the headlights of a truck that hit him so hard that Marlon literally flew about thirty meters. A crowd of people on the street watched the whole scene with disbelief in their eyes and watched as Marlon's helpless body bounced off the concrete, still rolling. People immediately started pulling out their cell phones to call an ambulance, some of them rushed to Marlon's body wanting to give him first aid. The driver of the truck held the steering wheel of the truck tightly, looking only at one point, paralyzed by fear and by the event that occurred. The crowd of people around Marlon was amazed because even if his body did not show signs of life, he looked intact, he did not have any fractures, scratches, he did not even have bruises on his body. Soon ambulance sirens and police patrols could be heard in the distance approaching rapidly.

    On one side, while the police were trying to "wake up" the stiff truck driver, the ambulance staff put Marlon's lifeless body in the ambulance, connecting him with various medical devices. As the ambulance rushed back to the hospital, and one doctor was left trying to "wake up" the truck driver from the shock.
