Lana sighed. She felt very weak. She was on her back in the trunk of the car. She sat up and was remembering everything that happened. How she was badly beaten by James who was going to become her new master. "We will be waiting" James was speaking to someone on the phone when he opened the car door. "You're awake. Good" he said to her after ending the call. "Where are we?" Lana questioned. She was sure the surroundings she saw was not James house. It looked costlier than what he could afford despite being a loan shark. "Just come down and act nicely. The people around here do not like disturbances" he whispered to her. Lana stepped out of the car. Her eyes went straight to the five star hotel on the opposite side of the lot. "Where are you taking me?" she asked shivering. "Just walk quietly with me or I can still make your situation worse than this" he pointed his curved elbow to her to hook her hand. Lana complied and they both walked slowly like a couple into the High Moon hotel. James only showed a card to the receptionist who gave them a key without saying a word.  The more they went in, the more Lana became more afraid. Though they were in a place that seemed safe but not for an omega like her. It was just yesterday, that she was strolling around with the hope of finding her mate when she met James.  She was an Omega and an orphan. Her life had always been miserable but when she met James, she knew it would become worse. James claimed her dead father had promised Lana to her as payment for a debt he owed him. "Have you ever heard about the Gray Brothers?" James smiled at her as they walked into the elevator.  Lana's eyebrows raised up. She felt surges in her belly. The name 'Gray Brothers' meant worse than death to her. The Gray Brothers are infamous for their cruelty against omegas. And they always paid high amount to the seller. Without much thought, she had realized why James brought her to High Moon Hotel. "Please, I will be everything you want me to be for you. Just don't sell me to them" she dropped to her knees to beg him.  "I gave you the opportunity but you misused it. There is no going back. You are for sale to them. That's where rascals like you belong" he laughed wickedly and pulled her up. Lana resisted. She stopped moving. She believed that was the worst thing that could happen to her. She would prefer to be killed by James than meeting the Gray Brothers. "Do you know there is still something worse than being sold out to the Grays?" James said with a threatening voice. Lana didn't yield. She would never believe that as far as she was concerned. Everything was better compared to being sold to the Gray Brothers. "Move now" James dragged her.  Lana held the elevator's handle.  James hit her hard on the wrist and put her over his shoulder. He hurried through the hallway with Lana bellowing as he carried her along. "Keep quiet, now" he warned as he struggled to open a room door with one hand. Lana kept yelling. She wouldn't mind getting noticed by other billionaire Alphas that patronize High Moon.  James took her into the room. He locked the door and threw her over the bed. He gave her some hot slaps which forced her to be quiet. "You want something worse. I can make that happen" he removed his belt, pulling down his pants. "What are you doing?" Lana growled. "Dealing with you" he yelled at her. "Okay, let's do this then" Lana rose up taking off her own shirt. James was confused. He hesitated watching her in awe. "What happened? You don't want it anymore" she questioned him. "Do you think you can use that to stop me from selling you?" James asked in confusion. "It seems this is your first time of doing business with the Gray" Lana mocked him. She put her hands round his neck and kissed him. "What do you mean my first time?" he was still much confused. "I don't know" Lana chuckled to mock him again. James pushed her away to grab his ringing phone. He smiled as he looked through the phone. "We are already here" he said happily after picking the call. "Are you sure the girl is good?" the caller asked with his voice booming on the phone speaker. "What do you mean the girl is good?" James was in another confusion. "What?!" the caller was obviously angry. "Are you telling me she isn't intact?" he scolded. "Of course, she is" James stared at Lana wickedly. "Please be sure, unless you are tired of living in this world" he warned. "I will call them now and they will be there in ten minutes. TEN MINUTES!" he emphasized. "I am already in the room, please" he replied reluctantly. "Okay, they hate disappointment. Once they are notified. There is no going back" he made it sounded like a warning before ending the call. "So you are planning to make me lose my head?" James charged at Lana. "You wanted it" she shook her head. "In ten minutes. You will be gone out of my life at a price ten times what your father owed. A very good business" he murmured and laughed. Lana looked up at the clock. She became more devastated everytime it ticked. She had to make a fast move or else it would be too late. She had less than ten minutes. James strolled to the door. He opened it and looked outside at the hallway. He remained there for some time. He was obviously nervous just like Lana. It seemed he was trying to calm himself. Lana picked up a vase on the table. She sneaked behind him and hit him on the back of his head. She didn't get the hit right. She only brushed right across his neck as James moved quickly. James held his neck and writhed in pain. Lana jumped out into the hallway. She ran along but James was already coming fast behind her  Luckily, she saw an opened door of a room. Without thinking twice. She scampered in and was standing in front of a shirtless rugged young man. "Please help me!" she fell down weakly. James came in behind her but he hesitated.  "Lucas!!" he exclaimed. Lana tried but couldn't stop her eyes from closing. She fell flat on her back.
