Paul is overwhelmed with everyone’s reaction. The Scorpish g**g is literally holding him on the air. Some other classmates and students of different classes are clapping for him. Mr. Arnold rushes to him and congratulates him for his brilliant performance, he is a proud class teacher at the moment. Paul is also very pleased at his running. Smile is never getting lost from his face. This event is meant to be the most important of this whole sports program and Paul has just won it! The importance and craze of this fact is spellbound. And it makes everyone remain speechless. Paul is already very exhausted after that long run and now he needs to sit and rest. The g**g manages a free corner for him, Ross brings some water. Paul cannot even speak at the moment. He smiles and breathes heavily. Then he lies down on the ground, looks at the sky, smiles and closes his eyes. The four of them get very scared at this behavior. Elliott starts to yell, “What happened Paul? Wake up, open your eyes!” Paul does not give any reply, he simply raises his hand and makes a sign that he is okay, no one needs to panic anymore, he needs some time. It gives them a moment of relief. Then they have a look around and notices all the participants are going through the same situation. Their friends are standing by them, helping and supporting, supplying water. After three or four minutes Paul’s breathing has come at a normal phase. He gets up and keeps seated on the ground with others. Then he pronounces the first word after that race. Paul says, “Oh my God! That was too much exhausting man!” Peter says, “Leave that! You’ve done something extremely awesome here dude!” Ross says, “You’re gonna get something from the stage on the final day for sure now. This 400 meters has only one round and you just won it.” Paul says, “And I’ve completed my three turns. Do I need to stay at school now?” Elliott says, “You wanna leave so soon? Won’t you watch other events bro?” Paul says, “If you guys stay, I’m here. Let me change my suits and return it to Jonas. Can you give it to me again on the final day?” Jonas says, “Relax, Paul. I’ll take it back after the final day. You don’t need to worry about it at all. No one is going anywhere. I’m here, you’re here. So I can take it back anytime. Chill out.” Paul says, “I don’t have any words to thank you buddy. Such nice people I’ve met with in the last few days.” Peter says, “That’s enough man! We know we’re nice.” Everyone starts laughing. Paul changes that sports kit and keeps them in his bag. He stays about an hour and half with them at the school. They enjoy the events of juniors and seniors and also help the teachers and the authority as volunteers to make every event successful. Everyone enjoys a throughout the moments. Chocolate race, biscuit race are the most funny and enjoyable among them. They distributed the remaining chocolates and biscuits among them after the events. Naughty smiles are all over their faces. After all of these Paul wants to leave. Paul says, “I think I might go now and take some rest at home.” Peter says, “Why so early man? The school hours are still left like about two hours. And some events still remain!” Paul says, “You guys enjoy them. I better leave.” Peter says, “Whatever you think right.” Ross says, “Before leaving, let’s have a feast on the victory of Paul.” Jonas says, “Hell, yeah boy! Let’s have some.” Elliott says, “Not a bad idea.” Peter says, “What are we gonna have?” Ross says, “Let’s check at the general shop. The pastries are tasty there.” They are discussing being very excited. But Paul seems a bit silent and his face is not glowing anymore. Peter understands the situation and declares, Peter says, “The treat is from me and Ross today!” Elliott and Jonas shouts, “Yeaaaaahhhhhhh” Paul gently smiles like he always does. Peter’s sense of humor and presence of mind save the moment. They get their bags and head for the general shop. They order a pastry and soda for each. They are talking and eating and drinking. Then Peter and Ross paid the bill and they are walking on the road. Peter says, “Did you like it there Paul?” his face is telling the answer. Paul says, “Obviously! It was very tasty.” Peter says, “Now what to do? Would you like to come with us now?” Ross says, “Where we’re going by the way?” Peter says, “On the way to that office, or anywhere. And if Paul would like to go with us then he can join.” Peter knew the answer but still dared to ask. Paul seems a bit uncomfortable again. Paul says, “No, I don’t think I’ll be able to join you guys. Maybe someday later.” Elliott says, “What are doing in the morning tomorrow?” Paul says, “Shouldn’t we come to school tomorrow also?” Elliott says, “Umm...Yeah we should. But we don’t have any more events left. So, we can hang out somewhere else.” Paul says, “Like where?” Elliott says, “It’s near, just some blocks away from here. It’s a walking distance.” Ross gets it that he is talking about that oak office and he likes the idea. Ross says, “Yeah. It’s a good idea. We’ll have a very good time together. What about you guys?” Peter says, “I don’t have any problems.” Jonas says, “Me neither. But we’ll have to walk a lot again. It doesn’t matter. I’m in.” Elliott says, “Let’s go Paul. We’re all in now. And we expect you.” Paul says, “If you say so I also wanna come. Where do we meet then?” Peter says, “Okay you see this road? Just start walking straight from here, no turns, no nothing. After walking for about 1o minutes you’d see a huge oak tree at a junction of three roads. We’ll be waiting for you there. And the time is approximately 8.30 in the morning. Like school days you know.” Paul says, “Ok, I’ll try my best to join you guys.” Peter says, “We also expect you to come with us.” Paul says, “I’ll see you guys in the morning then.” Ross says, “And don’t be late like Peter, never ever.” Peter says, “Oh shut up now. Goodbye Paul.” Paul laughs and says farewell by waving his hand. The g**g moves there steps towards the office and talking with each other. Peter says, “So the fifth person is gonna know about our oak office right?” Ross says, “Yeah and I think Paul will be able to keep it a secret. Besides he is a very simple boy.” Elliott says, “I also don’t see any problem here. Let’s hope for the best.” Ross says, “We’re gonna spend the whole morning there?” Elliott says, “I think we can clean up the place and add some more appliances.” Peter says, “What else can we add?” Elliott says, “Like a shed.” Peter says, “Isn’t the tree enough for shedding?” Elliott says, “Still that doesn’t cover one corner. And if it rains water will make the place wet anyways. I think we can add something to create shed.” Peter says, “I think we need to talk with Uncle Rick about this.” Jonas says, “He knows about oak office?” Peter says, “We told him once, did you forget?” Jonas says, “Oh! I remember now. And I think he’ll figure something out.” They reach the oak office soon and enter there. Peter notices that rope is hanging from a branch. He pulls it a bit and makes the blue part visible from outside. It means they are in now. About the cleaning topic they all take a look around. There is full of green tares, climbing the tree, benches and walls. Insects are moving here and there. At a corner ants are building their home. They feel the need for cleaning it up indeed. Otherwise soon it will not remain in a condition to come in. So they decide to clean it up as soon as possible. Elliott says, “So when are we starting this job?” Ross says, “Paul’s gonna come here tomorrow. So we need to finish this as soon as possible. It must be today afternoon.” Peter says, “I can come. And you guys?” Everyone nods their heads in an affirmative gesture. Elliott says, “Bro, coming won’t do the job. We need many things for the work. Such as a scythe, gardening scissor, shovel, sweep and maybe a knife too.” Ross says, “Where can we get scythe now? Gardening scissor is enough undoubtedly. I’ll bring it and a shovel too.” Peter says, “That’s done then. I’ll bring the knife and Jonas will bring a sweep. Easy peasy!” Jonas says, “Ok done. Elliott’s not bringing anything. We’ll give him extra work then.” Elliott says, “Not fair idiots!” Peter says, “We’ll see that later. Now an important thing. We won’t be needed more than an hour to wrap things up. After then should we visit Uncle Rick’s?” Jonas says, “You’ll make me walk like hell today man!” Peter says, “Oh shut up dude! We need to discuss about the shed.” Jonas says, “Ok. Then it’s fine. I’m pretty excited about the fact is our office is gonna have a new look after a lot of days.” Elliott says, “That’s true. Then we must leave now. After shower, lunch and stuffs we’ll meet again here. Time?” Peter says, “4.oo should be ok. Ross says, “See you then brothers.” Jonas says, “Bye!” Ross makes the signal red and comes out from the office as a last man. They again get very interesting task to do. So excitement is pretty high. All of them do not even take rest. After finding the equipment they need, they take it and come to the oak office exactly at time. Peter sees that blue signal and figures out he is not the first one. After entering there he sees Elliott. He did not have any equipment responsibility. So Peter cannot be sure if Ross and Jonas remember well enough or not. But in a while when he watches them entering with a huge scissor, shovel and a broom he becomes relieved. They do not waste away time in gossips and start to work immediately. Peter and Ross can work very hard when it is needed. On the other hand Elliott and Jonas are not that good. But they are very useful helping hands. At first they cut down all the tares and other small bushes with scissor and knife. Jonas clears the benches and Elliott clears the walls from the hand of those climbers and trailers. In 10 minutes the look is changed and it forms much fresher. Continuing the cutting and releasing the creepers they take some rest. Work is almost done. The oak tree looks like he just got free from the hands of enemies. Everything has a much fresher look that enchant them. As the resting period ends everyone makes their hands back to work with a better spirit. They gather up all the garbage at one place. The plan is to dig a hole. Jonas says, “Hey Elliott, dig that hole up. You didn’t bring anything here.” Elliott says, “That’s unfair man!” Peter says, “And coming free hands, with all the chill is pretty fair?” Elliott says, “Fine. I’ll have my revenge on you guys.” Ross says, “We’ll see about it later. Take this shovel and go on. Don’t act like a grandpa now.” Elliott does not delay anymore and picks up the shovel, digs up a hole. It takes some time while others are chilling at the benches. Elliott is not that strong physically so Ross helps a bit at the end. And then they put the grass, leaves, creepers and every garbage in the hole and fill it out with the remaining soil. They sit back there for the next break. They have done a wonderful job. It is related to everyone’s life that when someone completes a job properly, it gives a different kind of peace in the mind. And the works of keeping our environment clean, it could be our room, house, the things outside our house, road, fields or maybe anything like oak office, cleanliness is important for both our physical and mental health. The g**g is prepared to take their new position at Uncle Rick’s after this.
