Chapter 4Ian and Dana had been in the other room discussing funeral arrangements for Debbie for over an hour when Shane McIntosh came home.
“Dana, where are you?” Shane called out as he walked into the living room. Seeing the two detectives, he asked, “Who are you?”
Danny stood and reached his hand out saying, “I’m Detective Diaz and this is Detective Johnson. We’re with LAPD and are investigating the death of Deborah Hughes.”
Shaking Danny’s hand, Shane asked, “Are you waiting to see my wife?”
“Actually, we’ve spoken with your wife. She’s in the other room making funeral arrangements with Ian. Since you’re here, we’d like to ask you a few questions, if that’s okay,” Jessica said.
