I relate more with my Father than with my mother.

515 Words
I am dressed and I feel funny dressed in this stupid suit. I am anxious and nervous about meeting my parents as a big ball of anxiety is stuck in my throat as I make my way to the top floor of the building with Linda at my side I feel stupid as in my world you just pop food into a microwave oven and wala there you are , food! So what is the big deal about dinner when they can't even keep their own son Why is food more important than I am??? I am about to see another life so different from mine and I don't know if this life is better as so many times I can think of the good times I had with my adoptive family and I am missing them it's so strange not having Mamma to be with me in this humongously crucial time in my life as meeting with my birth parents is so very scary I don't want to see them anymore and then I feel Linda giving me a push as she says Come-on you got to take another step she whispered in my ear. My father is standing on the furthest end of the room and as he turns my eyes mist over as I see my own father for the first time of my life and I don't care about protocol as I go over to him and give him a big hug. He steadies me and there's a smile on his face and yes he looks like me or I look like him. "I don't think you ever hugged me before son,"he says with a smile. I am pleased hes quite impressive as a person I think he's cool I am willing to forgive my parents for all the wrongs they did to me, but the next moment I take it all back as my Mother turns from the drinks cabinet after she pours herself a drink She then asks me in a very sarcastic voice ,"So Paul what is it you want now as this is the most vulgar display of emotion I have ever seen". She is. beautiful but in a plastic surgery sort of way and I am hesitant to do or say anything to her as I see a ugly smirk on her face. I have to swallow the pain in my chest as I can't see in front of me as tears plop out of my eyes and my emotional response is making me look like a weekling. I turned away from her so that she can't see my response as in turn my father frowns as he comes forward and grips my arm to hold me up. I can see alarm on his face as he asks me what the matter is. My mother is not satisfied with my not speaking to her so she says "My dear Paul can you tell my why your father needs to be hugged and not me , or are you reserving your abusive a sarcastic remarks for me?"
