Chapter 14

Zarya’s POV

I was finally out, I know I only gained Cordelia consciously yesterday but being dormant for eighteen years was awful. I’ve been getting to know her for her whole life, living in the back part of her mind, basically living a movie through her eyes for eighteen years. It was an amazing experience, but it’s so much better to experience life myself. It took a little longer than I expected for us to turn but I knew that it might, we’re special. I can’t tell Cordelia why we’re special and I hated that, but she has to learn it on her own. I just really hope it doesn't take her too long. We finally turned and we stood tall, we were massive. I turned around and looked at Sam and he just stood here admiring us. “It’s very nice to meet you in person, Zarya.” he said, patting my head. I nuzzled my head against him and mind linked “It’s very nice to meet you as well, mate.” I said. “I guess it’s our turn, he’s been waiting long enough and I know you have too.” he said. He stood back and undressed and began his shift, it took a lot less time than it did for us but that’s to be expected. Draco was the biggest wolf we had ever seen, he had solid black fur and the same piercing blue eyes. I was a large wolf but he towered over me, but he was beautiful. He walked closer and we both nuzzled our heads into each other's necks. “My beautiful mate, I have waited for what seems like forever to find you.” Draco said to me. “I can’t believe I found you my love. All I’ve needed is you, you make us whole.” I said. We cuddled for a few more moments and then went for our run. We ran for miles around the entire pack territory for what seemed like forever. He would chase me then I would chase him. We would be nipping each other’s heels the entire time. We even got the chance for our own mating process and it was wild. It was nothing but fun, we had a full night of adventures, we ran with no worry in the world. Our mate bond kept getting stronger and stronger. This was the last step for us to fully seal our bond and I could feel it like electricity and I know Cordelia could feel it too. I could hear her purring in my head just as much as I was. Everything was falling into place for us, the strength Draco and Sam gave us was intense. I knew that Cordelia would be able to handle who we are. As long as we have them, we can handle what's coming.

Cordelia’s POV

Living this night through Zarya’s eyes was one of the best experiences of my life. It felt like a movie, but I felt everything she felt, every emotion, every jump, the wind running through her fur. It was an electric pulse I could feel through every inch of my body. It was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. And as soon as Sam shifted to Draco I felt complete. It was like Dracdo was the missing puzzle piece. I felt so complete before, I didn’t know it would feel this great. I could feel their essence coursing through my veins, I could feel their excitement and joy and the love he felt for me. Two days ago I would have never thought I would be where I’m at right now. I had plans to be a warrior, I dreamed of being just like my dad my entire life. Fighting for our pack was my dream, I may not be becoming a warrior but now I get to fight for my pack in the best way. Sam made me whole and made my dream a reality. It was around three or four am and we made our way back to the pack house, we walked in and of course there stood Dennis in nothing but boxers. Immediately I looked down at the ground and let Sam lead me. I could hear a growl escape his lips when he saw how uncomfortable I was. “Oooooh, and where have you been little mister? I have just been worried sick.” Dennis said with his arm crossed over his chest with the biggest smirk on his face. “f**k off Denny.” Sam said. I couldn’t help but laugh at these two, they argue and smart off to each other like a married couple. “How dare you, I was just worried. I thought you loved me enough to let me know where you’re going.” he said sarcastically. “Dennis Akins, leave that man alone or you can go marry him.” Alyssa yelled from the kitchen. “Hey, what about me?” I said laughing. “I’ll keep you all to myself. You’re prettier anyways.” she said coming around the corner winking at me. Sam grabbed my waist and pulled me close letting out a slightly louder growl than before. “I do just love a beautiful blonde woman.” I said winking back at her. I felt the grip on my waist tightened as he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. “Hey! What are you doing?!” I yelled. “My dear mate, that was an awfully naughty thing to say, it’s gotta have consequences.” he said with a chuckle “And you” he said to Alyssa “She is mine, remember that!” Alyssa started laughing “Hey girl, you’re welcome” she said. “What for?” I asked. “I just got you laid.” she said with a wink. Sam started laughing “That you did.” he said back to her. My cheeks turned bright red, there was nothing I could do to hide the blush on my cheeks. I just buried my head into his back. “My love, don’t be bashful now. You were talking such a big game to her downstairs, let’s see that confidence with me.” he said, slapping my ass. “Hey!” I yelled. I could still hear Alyssa and Dennis in the kitchen laughing as he walked me over to the staircase. “You know there's an elevator right over there right? Why are you taking me up the stairs!?” I said. “”Antisipation my love. Gotta keep you on your toes.” he said with a devilish chuckle. After what felt like a lifetime of him walking me up the stairs, we finally made it to the 7th floor. He busted through our door and froze. I could feel tension building up in his muscles. “Who’s there?” he roared. He sat me down in the doorway and said “I said who is there? I will not ask again without consequence.” he growled a floor shaking growl. “Sammy, I was just waiting for you to get here.” an all too familiar voice chirped through the darkness. “I didn’t expect you to have that with you though.” she said. The light was switched on and all I could see was a head full of straight blonde hair cuddled up to Sam’s pillows in nothing but red skimpy lingerie. “That is your new luna, Bethany and you will do well to show her some respect.” Sam roared. “She is the loser of the pack, look at me, wouldn’t you rather have me?” she said. Before he could even reply back to her I was across the room with my hand on her neck lifting her from the bed. “I will not repeat myself again, I will not be nice again. Sameul is mine, and mine alone. You are not an option nor will you ever be an option. You are a spoiled and entitled brat but you are no luna. I demand respect or I will have you jailed or banished from this pack! Do I make myself clear!?” I yelled digging my partially shifted nails into her neck. She didn’t say anything but looked over at Sam “Youre just going to let her do this?” she pleaded. “I said do you understand me!?” I screamed, slamming her against the wall. “Yes luna. Yes I understand. Please let me go, you’re hurting me.” she said. I dropped her to the ground and turned around to see a full audience of people. Sam was standing back against the wall smiling. A very pissed off Declan Akins watching me toss his daughter to the ground, but also a crowd of people holding back smiles. “Mr. Akins, your daughter has been a nuisance since I found my mate. She seems to believe that she is worthy of breaking my mate bond. I know you are very aware of how the bond works and why my mate felt the way she felt in this situation. I will say it once and only once and this goes for both of your daughters, I am not interested and never have or will be. Cordelia has been much more lenient than I planned to be. Your daughters need a serious attitude change or I will make sure they have a punishment I see fit for their wrong doing.” he said turning to Bethany on the floor “Do I make myself clear?” Sam asked. “Yes alpha, I’m sorry Alpha and Luna. It will not happen again.” she said. Declan came into the room grabbing his daughter off of the floor, “Do well to remember who helped raise you to the alpha you are today.” Declan sputtered at him. “Do well to remember who is currently Alpha, I love you very much Declan but I will not deal with your disrespect either. Remove yourself from our room and make sure your daughters never step foot onto this floor again. And everyone else, I appreciate you all coming to make sure we were safe but please leave. Now.” Sam said. Everyone starts piling out of our room and out of the hallway except one person. “I couldn’t say it while my dad was here, but thank you so much for that right there. My sisters needed to be put in their place and we got to watch our badass Luna in action. f*****g brilliant.” Dennis said. “You’re happy I threatened to banish your sister?” I asked. “Hell yeah! My sisters are bringing our family name to s**t because they’re bitter and mean. I don’t know why they act that way but I’m glad you scared some sense into her. Goodnight guys, that was awesome.” he said laughing while walking out of the room. “Well, that was eventful. Can we get our bed changed. I am not sleeping where her nasty ass has laid.” I said . “Already on it babe, I have some of our omegas bringing new pillows and sheets.” he said laughing, walking over to me and wrapping his arms around me. “Did I mention how sexy that was?” he said. “She won’t mess with you again, that’s all that matters.” I said smiling. “The confidence makes it even sexier.” he said then kissed me hard. He pushed me against the wall feeling up and down my body. My head started spinning by his touch, the electricity was overwhelming and I couldn’t contain my moans. All of the sudden a sweet voice clears their throat in the open doorway. “Ahem, Alpha, Luna I am so sorry to interrupt but I have all of your new bedding. May I come fix your bed for you?” she asked. “Yes Amy, I’m sorry you had to walk in on that.” Sam said. I walked over and sat down on the couch and waited for the bed to be made, I didn’t realize how exhausted I was because I didn’t even remember our omega Amy leaving the room. I Remember being lifted and put into a bath but I couldn’t open my eyes. I was so tired. I just kept seeing Zarya, it was the same war memories she showed me when my birthday first hit but they were different. She had an aura around her that I didn’t see when we shifted tonight. I didn’t understand but I knew she had some explaining to do. I felt the warmth of the water disappear and I was being lifted again, I finally felt my bed then Sam’s warmth up against me. I drifted off further into this dream, but couldn’t piece the story together.
