The smell of my pee and excrement seems to bend in now. My eyes grew accustomed to the dark. I can see a little better now. I've been in my old pack's cell before and this cell is extremely small and cramped. I do not even have the room to spread my legs out when I lay down. My body is sore from this place that I am now accustomed to calling mine. My viewing box. To be watched like an animal.
I have no idea how many days I've been down here. I have fallen asleep more times than I was able to keep track of. My eyes seem to open when his eyes were on me. Even in my sleep, I could still sense his presence. He does the same as he did on his first visit. He just watches me, like he's waiting for me to grovel for his forgiveness. And yet he'll have to wait for hell to freeze over before that happens.
I don't know if my father is still alive. My wolf cannot seem to reach his wolf. I hope that he's down here somewhere with me but in a better position at least getting food and water. I do not wanna lose another parent.
My stomach cramps in pain for the twelfth time since I woke up. I'm starving to the point where I have started chewing on my fingernails and when those were gone I attacked the skin around my nails. My mouth is dry and I haven't peed in a while. It's like I'm running out of fluid in my body.
Here I am laying with my back facing the door of the cell after waking up. I don't think I can move anymore. My entire body is stiff. It's like my body is eating away at itself, leaving nothing but pain in its wake.
"Get up." His voice is rough. I didn't even realize that he was here. And yet despite his command, I don't move. My wolf wants my body to move so that she'll finally be close to her significant other but yet my body is too weak to move.
"Get up." He growls out this time opening the cell door. He takes a step closer to me and when he sees that I'm not moving he moves closer to me. "Get the f**k up." His hand is gripping the back of my shirt, pulling me up off the floor and dragging me behind him as he heads down the hallway he's been traveling down so frequently. I'm afraid of what he might just do to me if I don't corporate with his commands soon. Would he beat me till I end up in a hospital, hooked up to machines?
That thought alone makes my body spring into action.
My arms move out underneath me, trying to push myself up off the ground hoping that the rest of my body would catch on and push through the pain. Yet my body could not move fast enough.
The light blinds me as soon as I'm dragged out of the prison door. After being caged in the dungeon for so long, my eyes burn bringing tears to my eyes. I could hear the hum of a car running. Squinting my eyes open, I search for the source I need to find a black Escalade only a few feet in the direction of where is dragging me.
"Alpha, Luna." A raspy voice speaks to the right of me. My eyes are in pain to the point where I can barely open them. I don't dare to look up to see whose acknowledging me as their Luna.
It's a cruel joke at this point to think that I'm someone that this pack should look up to. A Luna that is currently being dragged through the forest after their Alpha threw her into a cell with nothing and left to piss and s**t on the floor for days on end.
Leo says nothing to the man as we reach the car. Picking me up by my underarms, Leo sits me in the seat before closing the door and walking around to the other side and climbing in sitting beside me. Now that we're in the car, the dark window shades allow my eyes to rest. My eyes are glued to my lap.
The car begins to move as we sit in silence. The new smells around me intrigue me. The smell of the leather seats comforts me. The leather reminds me of the time my dad took me car shopping. We went into the city for two weeks straight, looking for the perfect car for me only to come back empty-handed. I still have no idea how he carved out all that time to take me car shopping. Then my mind flashes to Leo beating me in the backseat just hours after killing my mother and buring my childhood home down with her body inside.
Leo raises a hand and I flinch without realizing that I'm doing it. The car jerks to the side leaving my body to sway in Leo's direction, much to my distaste. My hand goes out to my side, bracing myself from falling into him but my hand comes in contact with Leo's.
Sparks fly through me while my heart begins to race in fear. Snatching my hand away from his, I push myself into the corner away from Leo. My eyes shift from my lap to the driver in the rearview mirror.
"Are you okay Luna?" The man driving the car looks at me in the mirror. I can tell he's panicking just by the look in his eyes.
"She's fine now watch what the f**k you're doing." Leo growls out. I don't even have to look in his direction to know that he's glaring at me.
The driver doesn't answer immediately. He looks at me for another long second in the mirror.
"Yes, Alpha." He bows his head slightly before returning his eyes to the road.
