The driver stops the car. My eyes are still casked down to the car's floor, glued to my dirty fingernails. I do not dare to look outside of the window. My head is already pounding. The light and the different smells are too overwhelming. The sound of Leo's door slamming shut gives me the energy to move. I soon find myself staring at the driver through the rearview mirror. "Help me." My throat is sore and my voice is raspy. "Please." I plead. The driver looks back down into his lap ignoring me. "Please." I plead. I am begging for the driver to get me away from Leo. Tears stream down my face as Leo's hand grips my forearm dragging me out of the car. A scream escapes my lips as he throws me over his shoulder like I was nothing but a five-pound sack. The sensation running through my body makes my wolf purr inside me. "Help!" I scream. "Somebody please help me." My throat hurts as I screech out the word. His hand slams down on my exposed backside repeatedly until I'm quiet. My eyes find the driver's eyes on me. Just watching me get dragged into my new prison. Leo leaves me hanging off his shoulder like a rag doll as he walks through what I'm guessing is his pack house. My head is pounding as I take in the new smells and the bright lighting all around me. My view of my new prison is inverted as Leo walks us into an elevator, nearly knocking my head into a railing. My stomach cramps leaving me to bite my lip to stiffen a painful moan. "Take a shower and I'll have someone bring dinner up." Leo grunts out as the elevator dings. When the elevator doors opened, the only thing I could smell is the same sweet musk of my mate. Does he expect me to stay in his room with him? "You will be staying here." He says bending down while grabbing my waist, lifting me from over his shoulder, and placing me down onto my feet. Taking a shaky step back creating some distance between us, I watch him cautiously before looking around the room. His scent is so strong in here. It just makes my body crave to be near the source. This room is enormous. This is larger than our entire kitchen back at my house. A smile comes to my lips as I think about the amazing memories my mother and I had in there. I could feel his eyes watching me like I was his prey. Well, I am his prey. There are only three sets of doors in the room. One set that is mostly glass, leads out to the balcony. I wonder what floor we're on. The second set of doors is the elevator doors that we just walked through. And the third set of doors must lead to the bathroom. I go to take a step towards the door but my body cannot seem to hold my weight and my knees buckle leaving me falling to the floor with a thud. Leo pulls me off the floor and carries me bridal style towards the double doors that I was headed to. "Put me down." My voice comes out as a whisper but I know for a fact that he heard me. I don't like him touching me, not the way that my wolf is enjoying it. His hands tighten their hold on me much to my discomfort. "You're hu-hurting me." My voice cracks this time. Clearing my throat, I watch as he just jaw clenches and yet his grip on me doesn't loosen. "Do you enjoy hurting your mate?" I ask. I enjoyed the word 'mate' rolling off of my tongue much to my discomfort. Just as we reach the double doors, he stops walking. Looking up at him, I see that he's having an internal fight with himself or maybe between him and his wolf. His grip on me loosens as his eyes flash from their normal light brown eyes to black. "I don't wanna hurt you." He grunts out. "But I will discipline you if you need to be." He says opening the door. As soon as the doors open, we're in a closet. A huge closet with his clothes on one side and female clothes on the other. This closet is huge it goes on so far and looks to curve at the end. There is even a crystal-hanging chandelier. It looks like one of those closets that you see on tv in celebrity houses. If this is the closet, where is the bathroom? "These are your clothes wear them as you seem fit." He says walking to the end of the closet. "Do you need help showering?" Leo questions, looking down at me and lifting an eyebrow. Clearing my throat, blood rushes to my face. "No, I can manage." I answer. My stomach cramps and my throat fizzles, reminding me of the sweet sound of pop rocks popping in my throat. "What's that popping noise?" Leonardo stops walking. His eyes wander my body trying to find the source. As much as I didn't want to explain my body's sounds I knew that I was going to have to. "My throat has been making that noise for the last couple of days." I could really use some water. Why is acting concerned about me all of a sudden? "I'll have a doctor come in after you've showered." He continues walking until the room begins opening up and becoming brighter. A gasp leaves my lips as my eyes run over the bathroom. It's absolutely breathtaking. There is a white clawfoot tub in front of a black brick fireplace. The ceilings are high and there is a large crystal chandelier hanging down in the center of the bathroom. A large shower a few feet away from the tub with two shower heads along with a tall glass door. There's another door that probably lead to the toilet and glass doors that led to another balcony. This bathroom is beautiful. "I guess you like the bathroom." I look up to see Leo smiling down at me. His hard eyes soften. My heart skips a beat. He looks so beautiful when he smiles. He should smile more often. Maya, what the hell is wrong with you? How could I be so stupid? I give him a day before he beats me as he did on the way here. Hell, he'll probably drag me back to his dungeon by my hair. "It's nice." I sigh. "Can you put me down? I want to shower and eat." Leo sits me on the side of the tub. "Where is my dad?" I ask. Leonardo looks over at me. His once soft eyes harden again and his body tenses. "Bathe and get out." He says stretching his hand in my direction. I couldn't help the flinch that took over my body. I turn my head to the left and suck in a breath waiting for the impact but it never comes. After everything that has happened between us since I met him, could you really blame me for flinching? A growl escapes his lips and the sound of water flowing hits my ears along with the sound of a door slamming shut.
