Chapter 6: Answers Part 2

Kerah's P.O.V.

I woke up in our room. Which isn't where we fell asleep last night. I rolled over to say good morning to Jazzy, but he wasn't there. I got up and went and took a shower as I didn't get to last night. I go and start the shower and walk back into the bedroom and get my outfit laid out on the bed. I go back to the bathroom and take my shower. When I get out of the shower, I smell bacon and sausage being cooked. I quickly got dressed and ran down the stairs and to the kitchen.

"Morning beautiful. I knew that would get you up." Jasper says while cooking breakfast.

"Good morning. Who wouldn't that wake up. Did you put me in our room?" I say while watching him cook.

"True. I would even wake up someone cooking bacon and sausage. Yes, I did. You didn't look very comfortable on the couch, and neither did I. So, I put you upstairs in our bed and went back to bed." He says putting the bacon and sausage onto a plate. He goes to the fridge and grabs out the eggs and fresh fruit.

"Ok. I just remembered falling asleep on you on the couch." I say watching him bring me over the food. It looked so good I almost couldn't wait for him to put the plate down.

As we ate breakfast there was a knock at the door. I heard the familiar voice of Dr. Chesterfield. Jasper sounds angry. I can feel that he is more than angry. He is ready to kill. I get up from the table and go to my mate. I wrap my arms around him. I felt him relax instantly.

"What is going on? Why are you so upset? Why are you even here Dr. Chesterfield?" I ask then look behind him to see an incredibly angry Zayran. "ZarZar why are you here? Why are you guys so angry." I asked him. I'm so very confused.

"Go on tell her what you told us!" Zayran says with his jaw clenched while smacking the back of his head.

"Well, you see I got paid to put your wolf to sleep. Your wolf is still gone, and I don't know if she'll return. I'm so very sorry. They would be here in 5 months or 6 months depending how far along you are. Your mate has been here for a bit and so I can't exactly pinpoint when you got pregnant. So, I wish you luck and hope everything works out." He says while looking at the ground with a terrified look on his face.

"Are you kidding me! This must be a joke, a complete dumb joke. Fix this! Right now!" I say swinging at him. If it wasn't for Jasper holding me back, I would have hit him. Sense my wolf is gone I won't have the strength of my wolf. I'm just human at this moment. So, if I hit him, I would have a broken hand.

"That's the thing I don't know how to fix it. He only was taught how to make your wolf sleep. I never got taught to wake her up. But I'll go hit the books and the internet and call around to other pack doctors to find a way to wake her. Please give me a second chance." He says while slightly rambling on and on.

"You better figure out how to wake her wolf up." Jasper says while shoving him off our deck. “Get him out of here Zayran before I decide to change my mind and kill him. you’re lucky my mate is even alive you could have killed her. If you would have killed her, I would definitely be killing you right now if not as soon as she died. Your one lucky mutt." He says slamming the door in their face.

"Jazzy you must calm down. Please take me to the library. I must do my own research. Maybe you and I can figure out how to reverse this without that worthless mutt. He's still dying or being banished. The whole pack must know that this is not acceptable or allowed in this pack." I say getting my shoes on to go to the library. Zayran and Dr. Chesterfield should be gone by now and that means Jasper won't go on a killing spree.

Jasper reluctantly puts on his shoes. He's still slightly angry but he'll calm down on the walk to the library. Jasper walks to the door and opens it and motions for me to go first. He's always been a gentleman.

"So, the library? Are you sure? It's been a very stressful morning so far. I'd hate for you to get too stressed and lose the twins. Do you want to rest for a little bit?" he says, looking at me with a slight grin.

"Yes, to the library. I'm sure. It may have been stressful, but we can't get to the bottom of this if we stay at home and do nothing about it." I say back with a smile.

"Ok well then less go to the library." He says, taking my hand.

We are inside the library looking for all the books about putting a wolf to sleep or about waking a wolf but without knowing what he gave to me. I quickly mind link Zayran sense he's the one with that dumb mutt.

"Hey ZarZar?"

"Yes?"

"Ask that i***t what he gave me. Me and Jasper are at the library doing research. But sense we don't know what he gave me we can't exactly find out how to counteract it."

"Of Course. Just give me a little bit. I am in my office dealing with something quickly. Then I will go down to the cells and get the information that you need."

"Thank you so much ZarZar. Love you."

"Love you to sissy.”

At that I went back to reading so then I can at least know somewhat of what I'll need to do or know. About an hour later Zayran mind links me back.

"Hey sissy he said it was a type of wolfsbane he said to look up all the ones and mind link their names to him, and he should recognize it."

"Ok. Not helpful but It'll do. Thank you ZarZar."

"Your welcome Sissy."

It took me a while to find anything other than only normal wolfsbane, but I finally found it. It's called Blue Oleander mixed with Wolfsbane very deadly to wolf's. Like the doctor said, I'm very lucky to even be alive. Now all I must figure out is how to reverse it. So, then I can wake up my wolf. So now I got to go find all of the books about Blue Oleander mixed with Wolfsbane. I quickly mind link Zayran to give him an update then it's back to the books.

"ZarZar! Guess what!?"

"What is it?" He sounds a bit angry but hey he'll be very excited to hear about this.

"I found what the Dr used on me. It's called Blue Oleander, and it was mixed with the Wolfsbane. Now all we must do is find out how to reverse it. There aren't many books in the library that talk about it or that are about it. Think maybe you can do some research on the computer. Jasper and I will eat lunch at the pack house if that helps any. I'm starving." I say a little too excited.

"Oh, that's great. Of course I can. But we are all doing pack lunch today. We are starving too. See you 2 in about an hour." With that he shut off the mind link. As in telling me nicely to leave him alone.

Before Jasper and I leave the library, I go up to the librarian and ask "Hello. I'm looking for all and any books about Blue Oleander mixed with Wolfsbane and any books that mention Blue Oleander. If you possibly get the chance, will you please and thank you for getting me all of those books. So, then I can read them and hopefully find what I'm looking for."

"Of course I can Luna. When should I have them all around for you?" She says delighted.

"If you could have them around with in the next 3-4 hours that would be great." I say with enthusiasm.

"Of course, Luna. I'll have everything around for you. I might even have it done earlier. If I do, I will mind-link you." She speaks.

"Thank you very much." After that we leave the library and start walking to the pack house for lunch.
