Today has been a damn disaster. The first three weeks of our travels went without a single hitch until now. We slept in this morning and thought we would miss our flight, but we didn’t because the damn thing was delayed by five hours! And if that wasn’t bad enough, there was turbulence, and I had a freakout mid-flight because of it. Thankfully Evan calmed me down before I made a complete i***t of myself.
Then to top it all off, our booked ride never picked us up from the airport, so we had to find another one and ended up lost. We have now just found our hotel, six hours later than planned. I am stressed, cranky and exhausted. I guess it was due for something to go wrong since the last few weeks have been perfect. We can’t have it all, right?
