CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

They appeared seconds later outside Trevor’s house. There was mad where the werewolves stood. Trevor muttered something and went inside, Sebastian followed him behind. They entered inside the house and everyone stood in alarm. And then sat down again. Trevor and Sebastian walked and sat down, shoulders relaxed. Loveness and Natasha went and began massaging their husbands. The men sighed upon feeling the gentle touch of the ladies. “I feel sorry for those without wives,” Trevor said. “I wonder how they cope with situations like this,” Sebastian spoke. “That’s why I’m thinking about getting one,” Justine spoke. Trevor straightened up his head to look at Justine. “Boy, bring anyone here as your girlfriend or impregnate anyone. I swear I’m gonna kill you.” “I agree with your father. And I’m still young to be a grandma,” Loveness spoke. “I was just kidding.” “No one believes that bulls.......,” he cut himself as he saw the look in Natasha’s eyes, “I mean no one believes you. He is telling the truth, father. He has been sneaking out these past few days,” Mutale spoke. “What!” Trevor stood up. “I didn’t tell you because he was threatening me. And because he is my freaking brother. But with the Academy on our tail I thought it right to tell you,” Mutale said face down. “I’m here trying to keep all of you safe. And then you get your ass and roam around at night. Do you know you could have been killed young man,” Justine just nodded his head, “and you two,” he looked at Mutale and Erup, “why did you keep this from me? Mutale you are the least person I expected to do this. No excuses Mutale, “ he said as Mutale’s lips made movements. “You made a mistake and you will have to pay the price. Both of you. And you young man. I need your phone, your laptop, and anything that can connect you to that girl. I’m not trying to be an overprotective father. But I’m just trying to keep you safe.” “You mean taking our lives from us,” Justine stood up. “Dude,” Mutale pulled Justine’s hand but he brushed him off. “I’m tired, Mutale. Why can’t we leave like normal people? I wish I was still at aunt’s place,” he turned and hurried upstairs. “Father, he is just upset,” Mutale spoke. Trevor just went upstairs and minutes later they heard a door shut. Trevor went and sat down. Somehow Justine’s words impacted him so much. The boy’s actions were bad but they were justified. Ever since they learned that Trevor was their father and they began leaving with him. They have been on the run from wizards, werewolves demons, and now the Academy. Their school life has been a mess too. They only got to college because they kinda used magic to manipulate their grade twelve results. The moment he needed to focus the most was one of his worst days. He feared this would happen it was just a matter of when. He was mad at the boy but also at himself. Those assholes follow him which later puts his all family and friends in danger. He sat there quietly lost in his thoughts. Then the door opened and Sebastian entered. “Are you ok?” He asked. “Yeah, I’m fine. I’m I a bad father?” He asked and looked up at Sebastian. “What nonsense? You are one of the best fathers I have ever seen. I actually look up to you for parent advice. They just need some time and understand that this is our normal lives we can’t charge it,” Sebastian went and sat on the bed. “But he is also right you know. Ever since I took them in my life as changed its danger after danger. They need to leave their lives, man.” “Are you listening to yourself? You know they will forever be in such trouble and just have to leave with it. As long as they are related to you in one way or the other trouble will keep following them. The boy was just too overwhelmed by emotions. He is in love after all. Don’t worry I will talk to him,” he got up. “I think I should do it. And thanks I really need that,” he got up. “What are friends for.” “Wait what time is it?” He took his phone, “we only have two hours left. So do whatever you have to do. We need to finish these bastards as soon as possible.” “Yeah. I will be downstairs if the boy needs some sense knocked into his big head.” “Dude, he has the same head as mine,” a smile crept on Trevor’s face. “Well, you also have a vast head as well,” he grinned and left. Trevor went, opened a drawer, and took a gold shine necklace which had a letter W attached to it. He opened the door and closed it softly behind him. He reached Justine’s bedroom opened the door and entered. The boy was laying on his bed. Trevor went and sat down. “Justine are you awake?” Justine began snoring. “I want to talk about what just happened earlier.” There was a pause. Then he went on upon seen that the boy didn’t make a movement. “Listen, I’m sorry that my life is full of bullshit ok? I know you have to leave your lives, but try to view things from my point of view as well. If it was you kid in danger what would you have done?” The boy kept quiet, “I not taking your lives away from you quiet the contrary. And just a quick reminder you and Mutale were telling me the other day that you enjoy this life. That you consider this normal. What happened today?” He paused waiting for a reply still got nothing. “Tell you what. I and your uncle are about to go and put an end to this matter. Then after that, you can see your supposed girlfriend.” “Are you telling the truth or just so I can talk to you again?” Justine finally oozed out. “Both. But that doesn’t mean I’m happy that you lied to me. I still have to punish you. But not cutting your connection from her. And I need to see her.” “I will bring her. But no use of magic or ask her weird questions ok?” He finally got up. “No magic. But asking questions though.” “Father.” “Alright,” a smile split on his face. “And I’m sorry I spoke rudely to you,” the boy lowered his head. “It’s ok, but don’t lie to me again. And I have something for you.” “What?” Trevor removed his hand from the back and the necklace was swinging from his hand. “My father gave this to me. It will give you extra strength. Not even a single word about this to Mutale ok?” “Yes, thanks,” he took the necklace and wore it. “I love you father,” he moved and hugged him. “Love you two my dear boy,” he huge him back. “Sorry to interrupt you. But we have to see this father,” Mutale’s head was picking at the door. “What now,” he got up. “The academy.....” “What.” Trevor went out and Justine and Mutale followed him behind. He hurried downstairs actually skipping some. “Where are they?” He asked as he reached the living room. Looking from one place to the other. Then he saw them floating in the air. The hair at the back of his head laid down. Just a hologram. “What the hell do you want now? Just because you have access to that hologram thing doesn’t mean you can intrude in my house at any time. Do you want to check out now?” He said as he reached the hologram. “We just wanted to remind you that time is running out. We are already here. So you might want to show your face here, we get this over with. Also to see to it that you aren’t doing anything mischievous,” a light guy spoke. “I don’t know if it’s your old age or what. But you are just a hologram. So even if I was doing something mischievous you wouldn’t know. And we are arriving at the agreed time. Now, will you quit stocking us? Assholes.” “He just told you to go and do something productive with your lives. Or you didn’t hear him because you are getting too old and your hearing senses are getting worse?” Sebastian grinned. Their faces got red. And minutes later the hologram winked shut. They all went and sat down quietly and no one spoke for an eternal second. Then. “Did you two.......” Loveness began looking from Trevor to Justine. “Yeah, everything is ok now,” Trevor replied. “Sebastian let’s go we need to take food to your park. Then go to frogsta land,” he added. “Alright.” They got up. “We will be back in a short while,” Trevor said and they winked out of sight. They appeared in the garage outside. Entered into Trevor’s car and drove off. After an hour they reached Shoprite and bought as many lumps of meat as they could. Went back to the car and drove off again. Thirty minutes later they reached Sebastian’s house. Since the remote to the gate was left behind Sebastian had to go and open the gate for Trevor. Trevor entered and the werewolves were standing in awe. Terrified of what was going on. But their shoulders relaxed as they saw Sebastian and later spotted Trevor. Martin walked to them. Grinning from ear to ear. “You are back?” He asked. “Yeah, we thought you might need some food. So we brought you some,” Sebastian replied. “Oh, thanks.” “Tell some of them to help you unload. We have to go,” Trevor spoke. Martin gestured for two men to help him. And after about ten minutes they finished and curried the food inside. Trevor and Sebastian said their goodbyes and left. “You need to keep a close eye on that man,” Trevor said. “What do you mean?” Sebastian asked. “Seriously you haven’t noticed? That bastard is after your title as an alpha. The time you said you are going to be their leader his face was as red as hell. So just tell Martin to also watch is back.” “I know he is not friendly. But I don’t think he is after my title. You just hate him as much as he does hate you.” “Just watch your back, ok?” “If that will put an end to this then I will.” “Good.” They drove for an hour or so and reached Trevor’s house again. They got out of the car and went inside. “I thought you already went to frogsta land,” Natasha spoke. “I forgot my bag,” Trevor said and went running upstairs. After a minute or two, he came back. “Please take care both of you,” Loveness spoke. “We will,” the both of them said. Trevor slammed to marble on the floor and a gateway came to life. With the last glance behind, they jumped into the gateway, and seconds later it winked shut. Frogsta land was even greener than they both remembered. The last time they were in frogsta land was to kill another bastard who was messing with their lives. And after their fight ended they destroyed almost half of the place. So their records were as bad. But the place looked fantastic. Full of life. But after their battle with the Academy, there was no telling what would happen to the place. And they still had no idea how the academy convinced the king of frosta land to allow them to have a fight there. Because that meant telling them that Trevor and Sebastian were their opponents. Despite Erup talking to them that Trevor and Sebastian were good people. Trevor was never convinced that the king forgave them all-heartedly. But if the academy said they were allowed then the king might have accepted. But then what if the king and the Academy were working together to get back at them? What if this all thing was nothing but a trap? The king of frogsta land hated them. And if the Academy came with a proposition that involved killing Trevor and Sebastian there was no way the king would have refused. The academy can’t be in the same room with Trevor for even five minutes. And they wanted to now fight with him. Which is likely to take more than five minutes. So this all scenario just didn’t make sense. God knows why they didn’t realize this earlier. And now they had walked right into a trap.
