Stephan (POV)
As we made our way to the pack house, I could not stop watching Ember. Something was wrong. She looked like she was trying not to shift. She was covered in sweat and her hand I was holding was on fire.
"Baby, are you okay?" I asked, worried.
She didn't answer, she just nodded her head.
"Ember," Sam said, walking up to get in front of her and looking her in the eyes. "Ember, if you don't get your wolf under control, you're going to shift." he said, stopping her from walking any further.
"Babe, what's going on? Talk to us." Rex said, worried.
"I don't know. My wolf wants out." she said, taking deep breaths.
"Why does your wolf want out?" Sam asked, then looked around, scanning the area.
