My sister is upset because the others couldn't join us. Eldon, Nilo's real father, is currently cloaked as LeRoy. We cast a spell over the pack and made them believe that Nilo's Dad was killed by rogues. It was the same attack that claimed the beta. What they don't know is the real Eldon, LeRoy, and Mark are locked away in a secret dungeon. LeRoy was being followed by trackers all day. Cindy and Patty were occupied by their fake mates and are being watched closely by those two. Vaughn is attending meetings all week so I can't go anywhere. Nilo is under observation in the hospital by the order of Dr. Smith. I think those wolves are smarter than they act. They have managed to separate everyone and slow our progress down. I need to figure out how to proceed with our plans. Damm well can't stand being stuck here fulfilling the Alpha duties. Okay, we have 1 week to regroup and then Nilo can make his move. To make things worse with the girls being occupied, we don't have anyone making scent masking spray. Well, I only hope they made plenty to last a while. I mean seriously I hope those stupid mutts didn't notice that Nilo smelled well human the last time he went to Pinewood.

Emma's POV

So my man can't come to me because that damn Alpha is having him tracked. I guess I should go visit him there. How do I go about this? I can't just go to the Pinewood pack territory. The girls both said that their fake mates are being possessive and excessively attentive. They are out of scent enhancers and have no way of escaping their fake mates to go make more. Something is up and I think I need to have a meeting with Elroy and find out if he knows anything more.

Elroy! Where are you? I'm in the Alpha office tending to Alpha business. Have you learned anything about what is going on with the girls in Pinewood? Other than their fake mates suddenly not letting them out of their sight. Not really they had me distracted with Mala while they had their meeting. Before you ask I can't Alpha command the Dr. to release Nilo. I can tell you that his glamor spell is what got him observed. Why do you say that? Well simply because there wasn't a single drop of blood on the floor. Yes, his back appeared to have been lashed plenty, just not a single drop of blood on the floor. I figure this concerned the doctor and is why they put him in isolation at the hospital. I don't know the exact reason why he can't be reached by telepathy. Do you think that they are on to us? No, I think they just don't like your son. They think she should be with someone like Vaughn. Someone ranked that would let her keep her rank. And why would the girl's "mates " suddenly be so possessive and attentive? Because your mate was found in the basement with the girls. Well, he is their father. Remember he is cloaked and looks like their father-in-law. Which is also why they are tracking him. Ruby thinks he's unfaithful because he hasn't touched her since he returned after his disappearance.

That reminds me why are we keeping all those captives in the first place. They are plan B, hostages in case the wolves get wise to our plan. Which reminds me they need to be fed especially that granddaughter of yours. She is a true Alpha hybrid. Being born from a powerful witch and Alpha means that she most likely will be a powerful force to be reckoned with. Too bad, you had a light witch for a daughter. I told you she was adopted and as you know was the next leader in line to take over her coven. Well, I have a lot of work to do and so you should teleport over and take care of our captives. While you're there you can mix up some more masking spray and special spray enhancers. Be careful not to be seen. Okay okay, I'm leaving, you would do best not to let this power get to your head. You know that Eldon is the leader of this coven.

Meanwhile at the hospital

Dr. Smith, how long do you plan on keeping me here in this room? You are in a special observation room that blocks mindlink telepathy shifting and magic. The Alpha finds it strange you received 30 lashes yet not a Mark on you. He and I agree that we need to protect you from being a victim of dark magic. I will keep you here as long as it takes to be sure that there are no residual effects from whatever dark magic was used. I feel fine but if this means no work no training then hey I'm good. As long as I can get out by the weekend. I would like to go see my mate. Just curious can my Mom come to see me and bring me clothes? I'll ask Alpha later when he gets back from his business trip. The doctor left and they brought my food. surprisingly it is quite good. Definitely better than the food they serve in the dungeon. I can't do anything from here but that also means I don't have anyone breathing down my neck. Boy howdy, when I get out of here I'm going straight to Pinewood pack to get what is mine. After all, Mom promised if I helped with this plan I would get Mala. This vengeance plan of hers has been intricate and time-consuming.
