I am riding back home with 2 of my adult children. I am sitting in the backseat with Mala. We are discussing what has been done and what will be done shortly. I wonder how my other sons are doing being in constant company with their mates. I would think that it would make them happy to be spending time with the ones they love. Micky's POV
I went to my room last night angry at the implications of my mate not being my mate. Then I see I have to hunt her down. I have tried mindlinking to no avail. I finally found her in the basement with her cohort Patty and my dad of all people. Mom won't be happy to hear about that not happy at. I wonder what Mom did with Dad during her meeting. I have had to spend the whole night and day with my alleged mate. She claims she didn't realize she had her block up last night. I made love to her multiple times last night until I had her exhausted. Afterward, we took a quick shower before going to bed. That's when I noticed she no longer smelled enticing to me. I also noticed my mark was not on her neck. Now I am ready to have a serious conversation with my mother. I now wish she had used her powers on Cindy when we first met. I understand she wants to protect us and we objected to the invasion of our privacy. I see now Mom was in a tough spot. Then she has a whole pack to take care of and Dad's disappearance a while back didn't help much. I owe her an apology for my outburst of anger last night. Hello Mom, welcome home. First, let me tell you I found your mate, my mate, and Patty all together in the basement. None of them were responding to mindlink. They claim they didn't realize their mindlink was blocked. I took Cindy to our room and after a night of passion and getting drenched in sweat we showered before going to bed. I slept possessively holding what ended up smelling human after our shower. I took her to breakfast and kept her by my side all day. We went for a walk so I could get some fresh air as the stench of humans was getting to me. Dale and I kept the girls busy the rest of the day in the game room. We had lunch and Dale mindlinked me asking if Cindy smelled as bad as Patty. I said yes and how did we not notice before now? We agreed that we owe you a sincere apology for being angry at you. We realize now that you were only trying to help and protect us. So now I'm sure that Dale would agree to you doing a complete search on our alleged mates. I have been mindlinking your brother while we were talking. The 2 of you are on the same page.
