658 Words
The music pulsed through the crowded prom venue, and Sira was having the time of her life. She laughed and chatted with friends, feeling carefree and happy. That's when she noticed Alex, one of the coolest guys in school, walking towards her. He had always been out of her league, but tonight, he seemed interested in talking to her. Sira's sister, Sia, watched from across the room, her eyes narrowing as she saw Alex approach Sira. Sia had always had a crush on Alex, but he had never noticed her. Now, as she saw him talking to Sira, she felt a pang of jealousy. Sia's eyes darted around the room, searching for a way to sabotage Sira's moment. She spotted her friends, Chloe and Becky, and discreetly motioned them over. "Guys, I need your help," she whispered. "Let's make it look like an accident, but I want Sira's dress to get torn." Chloe and Becky exchange a glance, but Sia's determination was infectious. They nodded, and the three of them hatched a plan, Chloe and Becky would "accidentally" bumped into someone, causing them to knock into sira, tearing her dress. The plan worked perfectly. Sira's dress ripped, exposing her skin, and she gasped in shock. She looked down, her face burning with embarrassment. "Oh no, this is awful!" she exclaimed. Sia rushed over, feigning concern. "Sira, I'm so sorry! Are you okay? Maybe you should go home and change." Sira nodded, feeling humiliated. "Yeah, I think I'll go home. This is just too much." Sia told Sira, "Don't worry, I'll handle things here. I'll collect any awards or photos, and I'll make sure everything goes smoothly." Sira left the prom, unaware of Sia's true intentions. Meanwhile, Selena, a friend of Sira's, had witnessed the incident. She looked concerned and tried calling Sira, but Sira didn't answer. As the prom awards were about to be announced everyone was so excited, then the emcee took the stage. "And now, it's time for our awards! Let's start with 'Best Dressed'... and the winner is... Sira Thompson!" But Sira was not around. The emcee announced, "Since Sira is not present, we'll call upon the runner-up. The runner-up for Best Dressed is... Sia Thompson!" Sia's face lit up with joy. She jumped up from her seat, beaming with pride, and made her way to the stage. She collected the award and posed for photos, feeling like she was on top of the world. The emcee continued announcing awards. "And the winner of the 'Most Creative' award is... Selena Lee!" Selena smiled and made her way to the stage, collecting her award and posing for photos. Next, the emcee announced, "And the winner of the 'Best Smile' award is... Emily Wilson!" Emily blushed and made her way to the stage, collecting her award and smiling for photos. The emcee announced another award. "And the winner of the 'Most School Spirit' award is... Alex Chen!" Alex grinned and made his way to the stage, collecting his award and high-fiving friends. Finally, the emcee announced, "And the winner of the 'Best Student' award is... Sira Thompson!" The audience applauded, but Sira was nowhere to be found. Selena stood up and said, "She's not around, I think she went home." Sia quickly stood up and said, "I'll collect it for her, she's my sister." The emcee nodded, and Sia made her way to the stage. She collected the award and posed for photos with Chloe and Becky with other friends. Everybody admired Sia, complimenting her on her beauty and intelligence. She beamed with pride, feeling like she was the star of the night. As Sia snapped photos with the award, people couldn't help but notice how radiant she looked. She worked the camera, posing and smiling, and everyone admired her confidence. The prom night was fantastic, and Sia felt like she was on top of the world. She basked in the admiration and attention, feeling like the belle of the ball.
