The Banished Omega

Chapter 4

Rayyan's Pov:

Exactly one week ago, I served as an Omega, a common slave in the house of the most wicked people in the whole pack, but in a miraculous turn of events I'm now the Luna of the Delta pack.

It still feels surreal, most times I feel like I'm in a dream, a good dream and anytime I have this feeling I pray not to ever wake up.

Benedict is the best thing that has happened in my life. Never did I ever think that I would find a love as happy, peaceful and as magical as what I have with Benedict, I love him with the whole of my soul!

And the only thing that's stronger than the love I have for Benedict is the love he has for me.

I love the way he loves me, the way he touches me, the way he kisses me, the way he adores me, the way he treats me and my mother.

"There's the love of my life" Benedict walked into the room, his voice elevated my spirit. He walked closer to the vanity table and wrapped me in his warm embrace. I love the feel of his lips on my skin, anywhere, anytime

"And how's my wonderful Luna doing?" He asked placing another peck on my cheeks, I must confess, I'm completely and utterly submerged in love

"I'm great" I stood up and walked him to the bed so we could sit facing each other "How was your day? How's your mom?" I just wanted to listen to him talk

"Well" He took a deep breath and said nothing afterwards, just loosening his tie and staring into my eyes

"Is something wrong?"

Benedict took another deep breath "Caroline is coming to the palace" His words dropped quickly from his lips

"What.....Huh...how.." A dense feeling of uncertainty hovered around me

"There's nothing to bother yourselves about babe, you know my mother likes her and now that she's sick Caroline offered to come to stay with her" I still didn't understand what Benedict was trying to say

"Can't Caroline stay with her in the hospital?" I stood up in protest, I couldn't accept it

"Rayyan" Benedict took my hands and pulled me in, right on the bed beside him "Caroline knows better than to be in your business, and I promise she's only going to be here for one week unless my mother gets better before then and she'll be out" He always had the right words

"I don't feel good about this" I couldn't hide my displeasure

"Well, you know my mother isn't very warm to you, so let her just be with who she's cool with"

"And that's Caroline" My voice coated in defeat and sadness

"There's no need to think about this too much, I promise she'll be out of your business"

"I don't feel good" It still didn't settle well with me, I know Caroline just wanted to push my buttons, that's the only reason she offered to come to the palace with Georgia but didn't stay with her at the hospital

"Well I know a way to make you feel good" Benedict moved closer with a flirty look on his face and claimed my lips with his

The next morning :

Caroline's Pov:

"Well, well, well" I'm surprised to see her, God knows where she's off to in those oversized shoes "If it isn't the Luna herself" I couldn't help but laugh, she still looked the same in my eyes, once a pauper always a pauper!

"How was your night?" Her voice had changed since the last time we spoke, now fostering boldness, I like that

"Way better than yours, I woke up feeling happy, happy that our pack now has a new Luna" I moved closer to her, I just wanted to get into her skin! "I'm very happy because I know you'll always be ready to serve, I know that first-hand because you were once my slave, remember" I love the look on her face, I can go on and on until she blows up

"I don't have time for this Caroline, please stay out of my way I've got meetings to attend to" She still sounded the same, stupid slow Rayyan

"I can see Ben has smuggled you into one of his companies, and your tailor did a terrible job with this dress" I reached in to touch the fabric "It's two sizes bigger" I burst into another round of laughter

"Please!" She pushed me and walked away.

"Coward!" I whispered to myself, I hate her, I hate her so much, I hate her so much that I'm going to go ahead with my father's plan.

"What if it backfires" Didi my wolf had a bad habit of looking on the dull side, she could be very pessimistic

"Can you just encourage me for once" I fired back

"How can I encourage you to poison Benedict and implicate Rayyan's mother for stealing?" Didi just had a way of pissing me off

"Accepting this decision was very hard for me, please don't make it any harder, my father already assured me that the poison is strong enough to get any Alpha down for at least two days and I have the jewellery from Georgia already, all I need to do is place it in Eliza's bag, so stop looking at the dull side and encourage me a little, will you" A small silence followed my words, Didi said nothing back, she just remained quiet, she was mostly quiet.

Six hours later:

"I just hope nothing happens to my son" The sound of Georgia crying almost made me cry.

My plan was successful, putting the poison in Benedict's food without being caught was the hardest part, but seeing him throw up his food and now unconscious got me a bit scared.

"How did this happen?" Georgia kept pacing around the waiting area. We arrived at the hospital over an hour ago and still no doctors have come out to say anything.

"Can I have your attention please" A loud masculine voice made us turn, it was the doctor.

"How is my child? How is my son?" Georgia was screaming at the top of her voice, and I'm sure she didn't realise because the high pitch came out as normal

"Please calm down, can we go to my office?" The doctor was very patient

"This is a private ward, say whatever you want to say here!" The sadness in her voice quickly turned to anger

The doctor took a deep breath, trying to wait for the best time to speak "Please you have to calm down, there's nothing to worry about, he's stable now but..."

"But what? What? What happened to my son?"Georgia seemed ready to burst

"We've gotten the poison out, but he's unconscious and like I mentioned he's stable"

The ward went silent, I couldn't even hear Georgia breathing, I got scared, and I panicked internally

"Well say something to Georgia, finish the plan you started" Didi whispered to me

"Please sit" Gently I lowered Georgia onto the chair behind us, I could feel her breathing increase, she kept looking around the ward as if she was searching for something, what exactly

This was the time for me to plant my seed and ensure my plan went through successfully, I was a bit scared, but I couldn't back down now

"Rayyan is the only one allowed to make his food, and after she made his food today she left, and I'm surprised she still isn't here" I let my words out slowly so they could sink deep

After a minute of Georgia staring blankly into my eyes as if she was searching for the truth she spoke up, I was scared when her lips began moving

"Are you saying Rayyan poisoned my son" A teardrop fell with her words

I nodded in assertion.
