TWWSF 14: Timmy Chen

Shandra POV

I hold onto Edge tightly while still eyeing with the man in the second floor. In my state right now, I know that I will lost consciousness any moment. With all the strength left in me and with a weak voice I ask Edge to take Breena to safety.

"You know Chase's fiancée, right Edge," I waited until he nodded his head and followed where I am looking. "Do me a favor, take her to safety or get her away from here."

"Why?"

"I don't have an energy to explain right now, just get her out of here, please." I pleaded before the darkness engulf me. I hope Edge will do what I say, if not, Chase will be in danger.

Chase POV

"When do you think Shandra is coming back, Chase?" Ask Ace. We are currently here in Extreme to unwind with the others.

Laxus look at Ace with a knotted forehead. "Why are you asking Chase about that Ace? You know their situation."

Ace turn to Laxus, "Of course, who didn't Lax? But Chase saw her few days ago. He went to give his supp--"

"Ace," I called him in a warning tone. Aside from us and Vash, our friends doesn't know about Shandra being the DC Org Heiress. "I think she will be back the soonest. I heard that Tita Yuri already allowed her."

"And, will she continue to fight for you bro?" It is Vash this time. "Despite being stopped by her mother?"

"Don't you know Shandra, Vash?" Ash answered before I can do it. "She will do it."

I am about to say something when my phone rings. It is an unexpected call from someone. Edge of Scorpion Pack.

"Hel---"

"Come here at Sky Night quickly," Said Edge from the other line before I can even greet him. Before I can even react he already hang up. He didn't give any explanation why I have to go at Sky Night at this hour. I heave a deep sigh and stand up.

"What is it, bro? Who called?" Vash ask.

"It's Edge, he said I have to go to Sky Night quickly. Without any explanation," I said before they can ask me what for. "I have to go," paalam ko sa kanila.

"We'll go with you," sabi ni Laxus sabay tayo at tingin kina Ace, Ash at Vash. Tumango naman ang tatlo sabay tayo mula sa kinauupuan nila upang samahan ako. Wala na akong nagawa kundi hayaan sila.

Nagkalat ang mga tauhan ni Blitz sa labas ng bar ng dumating kami. Hindi lang mga mga member ng Sky Wolves ang nagbabantay sa labas, namataan din namin ang ilan sa mga member ng Scorpion Pack.

"Do you think something happened?" Ace ask to no one in particular while we're getting off from our motorbike.

"I think so," Vash answered, "if not, there's no way SC members will be here."

Tinanguan ng tauhan ni Blitz na nasa parking ang nakabantay sa pintuan ng maglakad na kami patungo sa pinto. Sumalubong sa amin ang magulo at makalat na lugar ng makapasok kami. Kasulukayang nagliligpit ang mga tauhan ng bar at iba pang members ng SC at SW na naiwan sa loo bang mga kalat. Unang tingin pa lang sa paligid ay alam mo nang nagkaroon ng labanan sa lugar.

"This is new," nakakunot-noong wika ni Laxus, "since the CST was divided, this is the first time that a fight like this happened here."

"Or this is the first time that we happened to know?" Ash said unsure.

"I think Laxus is right," sabi ko na inilibot ang tingin sa paligid upang hanapin si Edge. "Sa nakalipas na taon ay naging tahimik ang buong CST sa ilalim ng apat na Block Leaders." Nakita ko si Jeff na pababa ng second floor at kinawayan ako ng makita niyang nakatingin ako sa kanya.

"They're in Blitz space," pagbibigay alam ni Jeff ng makalapit kami sa kanya. "The last room in the corner."

Tumango ako saka bumaling sa mga kasama ko. Sinenyasan ko sila upang ipalam na ako na lang ang aakyat at harapan si Edge. Sumang-ayon naman sila at sumama kay Jeff.

The room is silent when I open the door. I saw Blitz sitting in the edge of the table with a knotted forehead and angry look in his face. Though he seems lost in his thought. Edge is sitting in the sofa bed in the corner of the room. He's looking after the one who's sleeping beside him.

Edge look at me when I entered the room. Tumayo siya, nilapitan si Blitz at tinapik ang balikat nito. "What do you want from me, Edge?" I asked.

The two look at me intently then Edge tilt his head to the other side of the room. My eyes widen when I saw Breena tied in a chair. She's looking at me, silently asking for help. I can see fear in her eyes. It seems like she's intimidated by Blitz and Edge.

"That's your fiancée, right?" Blitz ask without looking at her.

"Yes," I nodded my head. "What happened? Why is she here?"

"SF asked me to take her somewhere safe," Edge answered. "This is the only place I can think of in the middle of the trouble that we face a while ago. No one will dare to invade Blitz space."

Hindi ko na pinansin ang iba pang sinabi ni Edge. Ang malinaw lang na narinig ko ay ang pagbanggit niya ng SF. "SF? She's here?" Kunot-noong tanong ko.

Magkasabay na binalingan nina Blitz at Edge ang taong nakahiga sa sofa bed. Napatingin din ako doon at nakita ko si Shandra na nakahiga doon. Agad akong lumapit upang tingnan ang kanyang kalagayan. Maputla ang kanyang mukha at mabilis ang pagtaas-baba ng kanyang dibdib.

"s**t!" di ko napigilan ang mapamura, "what the hell happened? Why is Shandra looking like this?" hindi nakatingin sa kanila na tanong ko. "I think we need to bring here to the hospital," akma ko ng buhatin si Shan ng pigilan ako ni Edge.

"Calm down, will you!" Edge hold my shoulder and push me to sit. "No need to worry Chase, she's alright now. We have to talk that's why I ask you to come here."

I sigh to calm down. I settle myself beside the sleeping Shandra and nodded to Edge, "about what?"

"About what happened here," sabi ni Blitz na umikot sa mesa at umupo sa swivel chair, "and her." Tinapunan ng tingin ni Blitz si Breena, saka ko lang naalala na nandito nga pala siya at nakatali sa upuan.

"Can you untie me now?" Breena ask while looking from Blitz to Edge and vice versa.

Umupo si Edge sa upuan na nasa harapan ng mesa ni Blitz. Inilabas niya ang kanyang phone at mukhang may tinawagan. "Jeff, come and get this girl," he said while looking at Breena, "we need to talk and she's just a nuisance here."

Ilang saglit pa ay dumating si Jeff at kinuha si Breena. Inilabas niya ang babae na hindi man lang nag-abalang kalagan ito pero hindi ko na pinansin. I'm curious with what Edge and Blitz want to talk about. Beside I'm still worried with Shandra even though Edge told me that she's okay. Ang putla niya at ang lakas ng heartbeat, at alam ko na hindi normal ang nangyayari sa kanya. For the meantime, I will trust these two and believe them that Shandra is indeed okay. But if I notice something wrong, I will immediately bring her to the hospital.

"Shandra was drugged Chase," Blitz said without beating around the bush.

Napatayo ako sa pagkabigla dahil sa sinabi niya. "What the heck!" Lumapit ako sa mesa ni Blitz at hinarap siya, "What are you saying Blitz? Shandra was drugged?" I shook my head, "C'mon, you won't allow it."

"Of course I won't, but I wasn't here when it happened. She didn't told me that she was coming tonight. When we came in, everything was a mess and someone we didn't know was already holding Shandra." Blitz explain.

"How it happened?" Naniningkit ang mata at madiin kong tanong. "You made an order that no one is allowed to serve Shandra other than the manager and old employees here. You mean to say, one of your men betrayed you?"

"You can say that Chase, and Blitz will allow you to decide what to do with him." Sabad ni Edge sa usapan. Inilapag niya ang mobile phone niya sa mesa at nakaharap sa akin. "Do you know him?" he ask pertaining to a photo of a man in his phone.

Look at the picture intently while digging my brain if I saw the man before. After sometime, I return the phone to Edge, "I don't think I know him. Who is he?" I asked at him.

"We didn't know yet but we're working on it. He was the one holding Shandra when we came and I think he's also the one who drug her." Edge answer while looking at his phone.

"Fill me in," I sat back in the sofa and hold Shandra's hand while waiting for the two of them to tell me what exactly happened.

"The manager said that he was the one serving SF her drinks," Edge started. "After a few serves one of the waiter called him urgently, kaya binilin niya si Shan sa bartender."

"The bartender didn't know who Shandra is," pagpapatuloy ni Blitz, "he's been here for barely a month. He accepted the shot from that person in the photo Edge show you and ordering him to give it to Shandra. He said, when Shan staggered to stand up, the guy rush to help her. Then he saw my men in front of the guy trying to take Shandra away. His group or maybe his men too, stop my men and the rest is become a mess."

"Gulo na ang napasukan namin," si Edge uli, "Mabuti na lang maagap na naisara ng mga tauhan ni Blitz ang bar kaya hindi pa nila nailalabas si Shan. Nabawi naman namin agad si Shan pero nakatakas ang lalaki."

"Anong kailangan nila? May sinabi ba?" tanong ko.

"Nope," si Blitz ang sumagot, "pero nung ni-review namin ang kuha ng cctv, ilang beses ng pumunta ang lalaki dito. Wala siyang ibang ginawa sa mga nakalipas na araw na nandito siya kundi ang uminom ng tahimik. Mukhang si Shan talaga ang inabangan niya. Sa kuha sa cctv, makikitang biglang nag-iba ang kilos niya ng makita niyang pumasok ng bar si Shan."

Naikuyom ko ng mahigpit ang isa kong kamay. Who is it this time? Hindi ko mapigilang tanong sa aking sarili habang nakatingin sa babaeng natutulog sa tabi ko. May nakaka-alam na ba na si Shan ang Heiress ng DC Org? Nasa panganib na ba siya ngayon?

I sigh before I turn to the two, "Did you inform Zander about this?"

Blitz nodded, "He'll be here any moment. Naunahan mo lang siya dahil may dinaanan pa siyang tao upang kumuha ng sample para ma-test at malaman kung anong droga ang ginamit nila kay Shan."

I shake my head in disbelief, I bet it is also Zander who told them not to bring Shandra in the hospital. Sometimes I can't believe how Zander thinks at a time like this. Whatever his decision is, it may be harsh but it always turns out that he is right and it is for the best.

"Lalabas na muna ako at maraming pang dapat ayusin," paalam ni Blitz. Hindi niya inintay ang sasabihin namin ni Edge at diretso nang lumabas. Pareho kaming tahimik ni Edge ng makalabas na si Blitz.

"Chase," nag-angat ako ng mukha ng tawagin ako ni Edge, "about your fiancée."

"Yeah, right!" saka ko lang alala ang tungkol kay Breena ng banggitin ni Edge. "Anong nangyari, Edge? Bakit hawak niyo siya?"

"She was her when the trouble happens. Bago mawalan ng malay si Shan, hiniling niya sa akin na ilayo dito ang fiancée mo o dalhin sa ligtas na lugar. I asked Shandra why but she didn't fill me in and then she lost consciousness. I can hear urgency in her voice that's why I ask Jeff to take you fiancée away from the mess."

"I won't believe if you tell me that Shandra is worried of Breena, Edge. There's must me something else." I said while shaking my head.

"Before she lost consciousness, she kept glancing at the second floor. An unbelievable look is written in her face when she's looking in one of the guest in particular." Inabot ni Edge sa akin ang phone niya. "Hindi ganun kalinaw ang kuha at naka-side view. Hawak ko si Shan ng kinunan ko yan. Do you know him?"

"Do you think he's with the guy that drugged, Shandra?" I ask while looking at the picture.

"I don't think so. He's looking at your fiancée despite all the fights and mess happening below him."

Mataman na tinitigan ko ang larawan. My eyes widened when I realize who it is. Walang ibang taong titingin ng ganun kay Breena. He's here and he knows. Is this the start or war?

"Who is it, Chase?"

I look at Edge with a worried look in my face, "Timmy Chen, a member of Triad."
