I was laying in Luciano’s arms when I got a call on my phone. I didn’t recognize the number and when I picked it up it was a hospital calling letting me know that my father was in the hospital. I knew that it was Tony because he had me down has an emergency contact. I sat up quickly and asked if he was okay? The doctor said that I need to get there right away. Luciano was still asleep, and I told the doctor that I would be there right away. I hung the phone up and I yelled at Luciano and I told him that something happened to Tony and he shot up right away and he asked what happened. I told him that the doctors told me to get there right away and I was really scared for Tony because he has been like a father to me and I didn’t want anything to happen to him. Luciano told me that he will be okay, and we got ready and left right away. When we got to the hospital I asked for his room and they said that he was in ICU and they asked who I was to Tony and I told him that I was his daughter and they let me in with Luciano. When we got to the hospital, I was not expecting to see Tony the way he was if it wasn’t for Luciano holding me around my waist I would have collapsed to the floor, I let out a sob because it hurt me to see him this way. A doctor was in there with Tony and I asked the doctor what happened, and he said that someone beat him up pretty bad. He has a broken leg, and four broken ribs and one of them punctured his lung. He said that the cops and ambulance got to him just in time. I asked him if they found the person who did this to him, and he said no but that they are still looking for the suspect. I asked the doctor if he is going to be okay and he said that to just give it time and that’s the best that they could do. I started crying because he has bruises all over his face and body. It hurt to see Tony like this, and I was grateful for Luciano being here with me because I don’t think that I would have been able to handle all of this by myself. I couldn’t do this again!

Luciano said that he was going to go to the gym and see if he could find any clues as to who did this and he was going to talk to the rest of the guys there and I told him if he was going to come back and he said yes. He kissed me on the lips, and he said that he would be right back baby. He told me that he loves me, and I told him that I love him back. It felt good that this time I was not alone and that I had someone who loves me and would protect me. I always thought that I would never have to depend on someone else to be there for me at all. It is weird that in such a short amount of time that I find that I love Luciano as much as I do. It is still mind boggling that Luciano is from the Italian Mafia and not only that his second in command is my father. I still don’t know how I feel about that and not only that, my fake parents are assassins that killed his family. Luciano should be hating me right now because I would. I feel bad about all of this, but at the same time a part of me wants to meet my real parents because for the first time I would not be alone anymore. Would my parents be happy to have me back and would they love me still after all of this time? My real mother was so beautiful and how would I be able to look in the eyes of my real father? For so many years I hated this man and he took away my parents that I have loved for so long. They never mistreated me and loved me as if they were really my own parents. Why would they lie to me about something like this and would they have ever told me the truth? All of this hurts me so much. This was my life and why would they kidnap me from my real family. I don’t understand this f*****g s**t! I sat in the chair with Tony and I was holding his hand and talking to him about all of my problems and I was telling him what I should do. I was so confused about all of this and I was telling him about Luciano and I and how I finally found my happiness with him. I told him that it was weird how I was able to tell Luciano that I love him in such a short time. But I told him that I was honestly happy with Luciano. I kept telling Tony to please wake up now because I need to find out who the hell did this to him so that I could f**k them up.

Luciano came back about three hours later, and he brought me something to eat and drink. He said that he was helping the guys clean up and that the police were still there looking around. He said that the police have questioned him and were asking if Tony had any enemies that wanted to hurt him and that he told him no that Tony got along with everyone. Luciano said that there was broken glass everywhere and blood as well. He said that he told the guys what happened, and he said that everyone was pissed and were going to try and find out who did this. He told them that if they find out who did this to not do anything but to let us know and that we would all figure out how to work together and we would all take this person down together. I told him that I was going to go after the person myself because he hurt my father. Luciano looked at me and he grabbed my face and he said that we are going to do it together. He said that he is not going to let anyone hurt me. I looked at him in his eyes and I told him that how did I get so lucky to have him in my life and he said that he is the lucky one. He said that it is crazy that he found me after all these years. He said that he remembers watching me run around when I was younger. I asked him how old I was before I was kidnapped. He said that he thinks that I was like four or five years old. I was quiet for a while and I told him that I have been gone that long and he said yes. I asked him have my real parents been searching all of this time and he said that they never stopped. He said that my mother suffered a nervous breakdown and went into a deep depression, but she never gave up looking for me and my father went crazy when they found out I was kidnapped. I asked about the other family that paid my parents to kidnap me. He said that my father Santo killed them all for what they did. I looked at Luciano and I was shocked but at the same time I understand why he did it. I asked Luciano if he hated me for what my parents did to his family, and he said no that he does not hate me. He said that he could never hate me and that he loves me. He asked me why do I think that, and I told him that I would hate me if I was him. He said that what they did to his family has no connection with me at all and that I am an innocent victim in all of this. I just put my head down and I was just thinking about all that he said. I looked back up at him and I told him that I am so sorry for what my parents did to his family. He held my cheek with his hand, and he said that I have nothing to apologize for and he kissed my lips.

Three weeks have passed, and Tony still has not come out of his coma and Luciano and I have been here every day and the doctors said that he is getting better. I was crying because I wanted Tony to come back to me because it hurt me to see him like this. I was talking to Luciano and I looked at Tony and I seen him opening his eyes and I started crying even more and Luciano got up and went to call the doctors to let him know that Tony was opening his eyes. I was holding his hands and I asked him how was he doing? He told me that he was okay, but he felt like he got his ass kicked. I looked at him and rolled my eyes and he tried to laugh, and he looked like he was in pain. He asked me how long he was out, and I told him for three weeks and he groaned at this. I asked him who the f**k did this to him and he asked me how I was doing. I asked him that I should be the one asking you how you are, and I asked him who the f**k did this to him. I could tell that he didn’t want to tell me. When he told me that it was the Punisher I stood up and I wanted to kill that son of a b***h! He told me and Luciano that he was sitting in the office at the gym and he heard glass breaking. He grabbed his metal bat and went to go check it out to go and confront the person. He said that when he out that the person flicked on the lights and when he lifted his face mask, he seen that it was him. He said that he asked what the f**k he wanted, and he said that he was looking for Phoenix. He said what do you want with her and he said that he was going to find you and then kill you for humiliating him in front of everyone. He said he told him that I beat him fair and square and that he said that he better stay the f**k away from me. I could feel Luciano tense next to me and he was holding my waist kind of hard, but I needed him to hold me because I was shaking with fury right now hearing all of this. Tony said that the Punisher charged at him and knocked him back and tried to punch him but was able to block some of his punches. Tony said that the Punisher was able to knock him down again and was punching him in the face and that he got up and got the bat and slammed it down on his leg breaking it and then hit him again in his ribs. He told me that I need to be careful that I am not alone anywhere. I started crying because I felt like this was my fault and I told Tony that I am so sorry, and I told him that I was going to find this motherfucker and kill him myself. Tony and Luciano both yelled at me and said that I am not going anywhere near him.

Just then the doctor walked in to check on Tony and he was looking at his charts and he asked how Tony was doing and he said he was okay just sore. The doctor told him that he was lucky but that he doesn’t know how to tell him this but because of what happened to him he doesn’t have much time left. I looked at the doctor confused and then looked at Tony. The doctor said that he could start Tony on treatments to make him comfortable. I was confused about what the f**k he was talking about. I asked Tony what the doctor is talking about and I looked at the doctor and he looked at me and then Tony and he said sorry that he is going to leave us to talk. The doctor looked at me and then Luciano and I reached for Tony’s hand and I asked Tony what is going on? Tony told me that you know that I love you like a daughter. I could feel a huge lump in my throat because I was afraid of what he was going to tell me and I was scared, I was scared shitless! He told me that he had two months at least left to live and that he had been sick. I sucked in a breath because I was not expecting to hear this news. I pulled my hand out of Tony’s and I asked him why he didn’t tell me sooner! He said that he didn’t want me to worry about him and he didn’t want to distract me! I was like are you f*****g serious Tony! I told him that he should have told me and that he is like a father to me. Luciano was sitting next to me and he listening to everything and was just holding me in his arms and I stood up and I said that I am going to kill that son of a b***h and Tony told me that he should have told me and that he loves me like a father. Tony told me that with what happened it would not have changed the outcome and that he loves me and how proud of me he was and that he will always love me like his daughter no matter what. I leaned down to hug him and hugged him. I haven ever cried in front of him or anyone else but at this point I didn’t give a s**t. This man loved me and took care of me when I was at my lowest point! Luciano went to the other side and hugged Tony as well and Tony told Luciano to please look after his little girl and to take care of me. I started to cry even more after hearing this and Luciano told him that he promises that he will take care of me with his life.
