I jumped up as my alarm started to go off the buzzing got louder I just wanted to hit the snooze button but I knew if I wasn't up and ready for tonight I would get in trouble I got out of bed then head to the bathroom before going down stairs for breakfast as I finished going down stairs I could hear my step mother and my father discussing a few things about the full moon ceremony tonight it was big deal for everyone involved it's the chance to find your mates and be choosen. "Good morning Harley they both say," Good morning. I replied back as we sat to eat my step. mom started throwing questions at me "Are you ready for tonight, Harley?" Yes, I replied "You better be she snapped. This is a big deal for our family," I know as I sigh heavily "Dont sigh at me! she shouts now that there is no time for you to help clear the table. I will do it now. Go get ready before your sister gets here. " Wait, Rachel is coming?? "Of course she is your big sister after all I know you will never be as strong as her but that doesn't mean you wont get choosen by a high ranking male you always have your looks she says with a smile now hurry up" I just looked at her then headed up stairs I couldn't believe what she said to me what she said to someone that isn't her child why does it matter if her and others think I'm weak or strong cause they have no idea what I'm capable of it wont matter as long as I'm a good wife that can give an heir. I jumped into the shower and started to get lost in my thoughts. Before I knew it, my stepmother was pounding on the door, Harley! Is all I hear outside the bathroom coming I shout back I get out of the shower grab my towel wrap it around me and open the door my step mother's standing there with an annoyed look on her face. Your sister is here, " I walk away into my room to get dressed when I'm done I head down stairs to my step mother and half sister so they can start to get to work after they are done I glance over to the clock and decide to leave at 9:00pm to head over to the full moon ceremony, as I'm cutting threw the forest along the path I feel a hand lightly grab my arm I jumped and turned to hit who ever it was. "woah, it's me." Colin says I didn't mean to scare you, Harley,as he gives me a smile. " It's okay colin I'm just nervous about tonight that's all but I'm glad you're hear and smile back at him as we walk the rest of the way to the clearing we see it packed by hundreds no thousands of unmated werewolves and of course the she-wolves were all over them. I could feel colin staring at me as other males walked by looking at me like he has some clame over me like I was going to be his mate when I wasn't it was impossible that he could feel like that towards me besides colin is my best friend so he would never think of me like that nor would I think of him like that I thought to my self for a few minutes. I'm taking her to my Alpha, so stand down at once," The beta's voice got more dominant as the yelling between them was starting to cause a commotion when two of the elders from the ceremony came to intervene. I was shocked hearing him say that but I was ok with it because I didnt want to go to the Blood Moon Alpha we all knew that pack were monster that killed anyone who stood in his or the packs way I dont want to end up with someone as cruel as him so I planted my feet next to Colin witch made Beta Patrick's head almost spin right off his shoulders I could see he was pissed as he preceded to shove colin away and grabbed me I started to shout let go of my arm I'm not going with you! colin tried to stop it when the two elders from the pack pulled him away. No, I said as they were holding him. "That's enough. Come with me now," I hear his harsh voice as i look at colin and tell him dont worry I'll be back i promise then lowered my head to follow him to the tent his Alpha was occupying while attending the ceremony.
