chapter 4 Dinner

we arrived in the city I was looking around I've never been to a city so this was all new to me there were so many tall buildings and stores the lights were so bright that it almost lit up the sky It was beautiful but chaotic the streets were busy with human's everywhere.

"Harley, have you ever been to the city before?"

No, never, but my father went with my mother a few times before we lost her he hasnt been to the city since then maybe I could get him something

"I'm sorry. I didn't know Harley. We can get him whatever he likes with a small smile,"

thank you as layton starts looking for a parking spot he started to cus a few times as other drivers cut him off

"what the f**k learn to f*****g drive for f**k sakes"

I was trying not to giggle

"finally"

he says as we pull into a parking spot he turns the car off then gets out walks to my side I already had the door open he takes my hand to help me out then we head into the restaurant.

"hello just a table for two?"

"yes i have reservations booked for us tonight it's under velintine"

"of course follow me this way to your table"

we followed her to the table it was a booth in the back with a window view after we took our seats a waiter came to take our orders.

"good evening I'm tod I'll be your waiter tonight would yous like to start off with some to drinks"

"yes Harley red or white?"

I looked at him confused before I answer umm white..

"Harley have you ever had wine before?"

No

"Ok we will take a bottle of white wine"

as the waiter walked away we looked threw the menu half the thing's I couldn't pronounce I looked over and saw layton close his menu as the waiter walked back to give us our wine then took our orders.

"I'll have the hickory smoked beef brisket"

"and for you miss?"

I looked at the menu then pointed at what I wanted I couldn't pronounce it and i didnt want to embarrase myself tod nods his head as he gives me a small smile well writing it down then he walks away.

"Harley try this"

as layton pours some wine into my cup then hands it to me I took a sip

this is good I smile then take another small drink

"I'm glad you like it"

as I continue to drink the wine layton asks me a question

"harley would you be comfortable enough to have lunch tomorrow with the other she wolves in the pack I have them run it every Thursday it's a good way to get to know them and have company"

yea I will go I reply I could tell layton was getting impatient as our food wasn't here yet I didnt mind waiting as I continued to drink another glass of wine

"where the hell did that waiter go and what's taking so long with our food he then see's tod coming up to our table"

"I'm so sorry for the wait Mr.Velintine it needs another few minutes then it will be done"

"I look at him and say its layton as I let out a giggle"

"the waiter just looks at me then him"

"No its Mr.Velintine as he glares at the waiter"

"I apologize sir I will bring you your food at once"

"Harley what was that only you can call me layton"

I'm sorry as I start to laugh

"dont laugh at me Harley and how much have you had to drink?"

I think only a cup or two maybe three I laugh again I threw my hands over my mouth trying to stop it

"Here yous go" as the waiter brings over the food

"we aren't hungry anymore it took to long he grumbles I am not paying for this the service was slow"

"I apologize mr.velintine"

"Harley let's go"

I went to stand up but my legs felt like they werent there I took a few steps then almost fell

"I'll help you Harley"

layton why cant I walk this has never happened to me before

"you have also never drank before relax Harley you will be fine tomorrow"

he helped me outside then into the car he jumped in then we drove off it seemed like the drive home was going faster then it was going to the city. I dont know when I fell asleep during the ride back but when I opened my eyes we where pulling up to the gates we drove threw the community up the hill up to the pack house as I let out a yawn i hear layton

"oh look your awake let me help you out and we will go up to bed"

he opens my door and picks me up

I think I can walk or at least try

"it will be quicker to get inside if I carry you"

oh okay I had no problem with being carried I knew I couldn't walk as we get inside he set me down on the sofa

"I will lock the door then we can go to bed"

okay as I felt a yawn about to happen

"Harley let's go your starting to fall back asleep"

we head up the stairs into our room I was to tiered to change so I took off my clothes and slept in my tshirt and underwear I crawled into the bed it was so comfortable and cozy as I close my eyes i hear layton start to say something

"Harley is that what your sleeping in?"

Mhm I'm to tiered to change

"well here put one of my shirts on its longer I won't be able to sleep if your wearing just that"

really as I slowly sit up

"yes here"

I take the shirt and quickly slip it on I lay back down and close my eyes

"thank you Harley good night"

good night

I woke up and glanced at the clock it was 10am I had an hour to get up and be ready to leave so I would be on time for the lunch i quickly shower then throw on a nice knee high sundress then a little bit of makeup I go downstairs to head out the door.
