I woke up to the car slowing down then coming to a stop I looked out the window and saw a huge mansion it had a castle style it was beautiful as I went to open the door to get out I hear

"No, wait,"

I turn to the driver's side to see Alpha velintine exiting the car he proceeds to walk to the passenger side door, and he opens it, then helps me out. Thank you

"You're welcome."

as we head inside, I let out a small yawn. I was a bit tired. Alpha velintine starts to speak

"You're tired. Get some rest. I have to take care of some work and check on the pack. Here is my number call. If it's an emergency, i will be back tonight."

okay, Alpha Velintine, I replied

"It's Layton, he growls,"

before the door closed behind him instead of going to rest I decided to tour the pack house so I knew where everything was after that I took a hot shower as I was thinking I heard loud knocking on the door down stairs I really didnt want to get out i thought some one else must be here to answer the door then I started to think wait why is it locked anyways if this Is the pack house? I decided to turn the water off, then got out, grabbed my towel, dried off a bit, and then put on a robe. I head down stairs and opened the door.

There was a tall girl with blond shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. Hello, I say

"Oh, you must be layton's new mate. I'm Kelly, his girlfriend,"

his what? as she pushes past me to come in the door closes behind she turns around as she continues to speak

"Please, you didn't think cause he had to choose a mate he wasn't with someone."

she says, "Well smirking, I could feel regret and anger start to form as she goes on

"You're just his play toy to him till you give him the heir he needs, then he's going to toss you away and raise the child alone."

I walked into the kitchen to grab layton's number from the drawer. A few minutes later, his phone started to ring

"Hello, in a dominant tone."

Alpha Velintine, it's Harley

"I told you to call if it's an emergency. What's wrong?"

your girlfriend Kelly is here

"s**t, I'm on my way,"

I hear a click, then a few minutes later, I hear the door open, then slam shut

"Harley, come here,"

It's Layton. I walk out of the kitchen to Kelly, being all over him

"Hey baby,"

Alpha Velintine glares at her

"Kelly, stop calling me that you have never called me baby. Stop trying to intimidate my mate he growls,"

"Really layton her? she shouts why her she looks no older then 17 she is young witch makes her weak just cause the moon goddess cursed all werewolves to not find our true mates doesnt mean you should pick a weak wolf as your Luna!"

I couldn't believe how she was talking to him. I went to speak to him, but he cut me off he began to growl as he answered

"It's none of your business why I chose her or anyone else's remember who you are speaking to! in a dominant voice. "

"Harley, this is Kelly, my EX girlfriend. I broke it off with her 2 weeks ago, so whatever she has told you is a lie,"

I look at him to reply as I try to hold back the anger starting to form she told me I am you're play toy till you get you're heir then you are going to toss me away so you can raise our child alone.

I look at him as his claws start to come out I thought he was going to shift but he didnt i never knew any werewolves that could half shift until him, he storms towards her grabbing her by the neck she whimpers out in fear

you could hear the fear in her voice, and I could tell he wanted to kill her layton. Please stop, I say in an almost dominant voice, and he turns to look at me, then back at her

"Dont ever come back here again. You are banned from the pack house and dont ever disrespect my mate who will soon be your Luna again, or you will wish I banished you as a roug he growls"

then drops her to the floor and tells her to get out she quickly gets up as she runs by me she looks at me with daggers, piercing her eyes in hate. layton walks up to me and touches my cheek gently, getting me to look up at him as I look at him. The words blurt out in anger. You aren't going to toss me away. Are you if so, then why didn't you just get Kelly to give you heir's he stares at me before his mouth opens

"Harley I wouldn't do that to you he grumbles yes in the past i said i would pick a mate that was a Alpha's daughter just so i would get a strong heir maybe two then I would leave or kill her to raise the pup on my own"

I just started at him I couldn't believe he would do something like that was everyone right maybe he really is a monster I thought to my self before replying, how do I know that you wont do that to me why am I so different as I start to shake trying not to shout

I drop my head into submission

oh, I say in a low voice, then look away. That's all I could manage to say as I thought to my self were all cursed, so how is it possible

"Well, now that I'm home, im going to shower. we are leaving at 6:00 pm for our dinner reservations. You have an hour to be ready he kisse's my cheek."

he walks away to go shower I headed up stairs to the room to pick something out to wear I decided to go with my red layced knee length dress and matching red flats I decided to leave my hair down i had beautiful raven black hair like my mother then ocen blue eyes like my father I really missed my mother she got killed by a pack of rougs when I was four as I continue to think about my mom I hear Layton's voice

"Harley, are you ready to go?"

yes, as I turned to look at him, he looked great he was wearing a nice black suit with a white shirt and tie to match

"You look great,"

thank you, Alpha velintine. You look great too he let's out a sigh

"Harley, I told you to call me layton, now let's go."

we head downstairs, then out the door to his car, he opens my door and then closes it as he walks to his side to get in. Where are we going out for dinner? I ask him

"The city I normally dont like to go there to eat, but this is a special occasion. You are my new mate and future Luna." The rest of the drive to the city was silent.
