“Let him go!” Aubrey yelled at the detective who cuffed me with a bright smile on his face. I looked down at my hands, watching the cuffs click and tighten around my wrist.
A warm smile spread on my lips.
“Ma’am, this man is a murderer and we are taking him in, if you try to interrupt, I will have no choice but to arrest you as well.” the detective threatened.
I clenched my teeth, my grip tightened, I grabbed his neck with my hands still cuffed and my eyes darkened. “Touch her and I will send your corpse to your station, don’t test me.” I deadpanned.
