New York, 2:04 PM "Class is almost done..." Mummered Grace quietly to herself, slouching in her chair. All she wanted to do was go home and watch her favorite, real-life show with her favorite cop, Drake Pattern, and be lazy for one day. She already had her grades up and looked her best for school, with her golden, blue eyes and French braided, long, wavy red hair. Her velvety skirt and Jean jacket were getting wrinkled. The bell rang, breaking eardrums with it's high-pitched blood-curdling screams. She swiftly swiped all over her stuff to grab it and rushed out of there! New York, 2:55 pm, Same Day. "Mom! I'm home!" Exclaimed Grace, gently and firmly. She dropped her pink, open backpack. She loved how her mom would know when something was wrong, and would comfort her with hugs and lovingly and calmly flowing her fingers through Grace's hair. But there was something about her... She went to the kitchen to get a snack. Her mom didn't come down. Grace raised her eyebrows in confusion, and pointed out to herself: "Odd... She'd normally come running down the stairs.." Grace didn't think much about it. Grace cut up some apple slices, melted caramel into it, and spread peanut butter using a spoon on the ripe fruit. She stepped along, carefully holding the apples in the bowl, wondering where her mom was and wanting to share them with her. Now she was getting concerned. Where was her mom?! Walking into the room, Grace dropped her snack... At the sight of Drake Pattern with bloody hands..And her mom dead on the floor with several knives into her throat..
